>"I had this problem initially as well. After checking out a few threads in the Bioware forum, I found the issue seems to happen most often on PCs with single-core processors. Although I have a triple-core processor, I found out it was only using a single CPU to play DA2 - hence my inability to save. Once I used an outside program (CPU Control) to 'force' DA2 to use multiple cores while playing, I had no more problems loading/saving! Better than waiting for a patch/fix to come 'in the fullness of time'! ;-)"
