Die studentischen Übersetzer sind schon lange wegrationalisiert und statt Excel verwendet man seit den 90ern PO (Portable Object) Files die vollautomatisiert übersetzt werden.

Neben diversen Editoren bieten das solche Websites an. Die besseren Anbieter kriegen das auch hin apply nicht als bewerben zu übersetzten, im technischen Kontext ist da ja fast immer anwenden gemeint. Die Software markierte solche zweideutigen Fälle mit einem Fuzzy Flag.

I’ve been super happy with Localazy! They’re a new startup, but bring amazing new features. I’m personally a big fan of their shared translation feature, where any common strings that are used in other apps can be automatically imported into your own project. E.g. not every project that needs to translate phrases like “OK”, “Yes”, and “Cancel” should need a human to re-translate them every time.

We used to use OneSkyApp, but their UI was super slow and cumbersome — each action took several seconds round-trip latency + multiple steps to accomplish a single task. Localazy has been both efficient and fast.

Do you have strings in external files (JSON or so)? Just sign up for localazy.com and upload your files to see how much it can translate for you. For simple dialogs, it would work for sure.

I don't understand it. Kotlin is awesome for BE development and it can smoothly work with JEE too.

Thanks for that! Luckily, Localazy also supports working with JSON (https://localazy.com/json). That means it can easily be integrated into other systems, for example FrontAid CMS which is essentially a Content Management System for JSON files.

Guys, what do you use for translating ARB files to more languages? Would you give a shot to Localazy? We've recently added support for Flutter and we can share translations between all apps, so you can get your app translated to up to 80 languages for free.
