LTEcleaner is open sourced but lacks just a little but of functionality (github)
SDmaid is a thousand times better than ccleaner, mainly because ccleaner constatly pops up in news articles talking about malware. I wouldnt have an app with a bad rep to manage my data.

It doesn't crash for me, you can find it here https://github.com/TheRedSpy15/LTECleanerFOSS
You can study the code and report to F-Droid if you find something bad. Also you can just block it through a firewall / vpn-based-firewall (Netguard)

After tapping "Clean" it asks you if you want to analize first or delete, it has white-lists.
Imo LTE Cleaner is massive spyware!
Have you read the privacy policy ?
Funny that the guys name is 'the red spy'.
