Hej OP. Jeg synes ikke, at du er i den bedste situation til at skifte. Jeg brugte selv mendeley, da jeg skrev speciale, og det virkede, men referencer er og bliver bare noget lort i Word. Som skrækhistorie mistede en af mine venner sin database og måtte erstatte 200 referencer både i teksten og i referencelisten fordi Word bestemte sig for at kaste op undervejs. Han havde naturligvis taget backup hele vejen igennem, og alle backups var ubrugelige, så det var helt fucked. Imho er Word integrerede løsning dog den værste du kan vælge.
Hvad det bedste er? Well, hvis jeg havde vidst bedre dengang, så havde jeg enten skrevet i LaTex, som nok er lidt sent at lære nu. Alternativt kunne jeg have skrevet i Markdown, som nok havde krævet lidt arbejde for at få det til at virke perfekt, men bedst af alt.. altså, det helt perfekt havde været groff med mom-templaten. Check evt Luke Smith og hans video om groff + refer. Det er seriøst den bedste måde at lave det på.
Jeg prøvede for sjov at sætte mit speciale op med groff+refer en fredag aften med 2 flasker vin og morgenen efter havde jeg et 99% færdigt produkt, som var pænere end det jeg afleverede dengang.
Men.. som sagt, det er ikke alle der er klar til at springe ud i groff.
Ik moet zelf Harvard gebruiken voor mijn huidige studie, maar bij de vorige was met APA. Het maakt een wetenschappelijk stuk net even af (en af en toe onleesbaar). Met Mendeley is het refereren wel makkelijk

Mendeley is a great place to start and has a Word plugin that will create your reference list.
However it is not always perfect so there can still be an element of manual referencing to be done.
This resource will help with that.
As mentioned above, learn the differences in writing reports, essays and reflections. The biggest problem with reflective pieces is listing what you did.
"For the course, I researched this and then I did that with the group. I did this to make it better and did that."
This is not reflecting, it is listing and it feels like you are reflecting because you are remembering what you did.
If you have any reflections to do buy a journal/diary/notepad and each time you do something start with what you did, then how you actually felt when doing it. Document the problems with the group, how the dynamic worked together and what that meant to YOU!
So it might look like:
"I started with researching the subject, but found it difficult as my understanding was low. I struggle to understand *theory X as it does not fit with my previious experiences.
As the group came together, Jo helped me to understand how theory x fits within the subject, which has helped me to apply context. I can now see that my experience with XYZ allows me to work towards my goal. This has helped me because I am not confident despite appearing like I am. After our group session on 14th July, I was happy to be working in a group as this allows me to use my strength with XYZ to help others."
(You get the idea, (edit) but even this is pretty descriptive of events.)
The worst bit is that it is easy to mark reflections but really hard to write them!
I would recommend Mendeley Reference Manager.
It is basically a desktop program in which you can organise all your references and sort them into different projects. It has also a Browser Plugin to import anything and a Word Plugin to actually generate the references in your document.
The Word plugin also has a preset for the Open University Reference Style.
To download it you can just login with your Open University login information.
Also you can use Mendeley offline, which might not be relevant for you, but can be nice if you are writing while traveling or something.
No problem. You'll probably find other managers like Mendeley or ReadCube Papers have lots of additional features that aren't in Zotero.
