I use this platform called Paperform.co for a very similar purpose. I've created a standard questionnaire that I email to my clients every week using Paperform and the results all come through to me in a neat little spreadsheet.
We'd used Paperform.co to accept pre-orders for our product (software app, but that doesn't matter). It's a pretty good landing page builder. Allows to capture customer info, accept payments and supports a bunch of integrations (useful if you want to send follow up emails, issue receipts etc). Good luck with your campaign!
Try switching completely to deliveries & takeaways. Move fast. I faced the same issue 2 weeks ago, made that painful change, and now making at least a portion (~30%) of usual revenue with deliveries and pickups.
The first step is ramping up your online presense. Use a tool like Paperform to build an online ordering system, will cost you only $15. Then reach out to your customers and let them know that you're still operating, send them a link to your ordering form.
Once the orders start pouring in, employ back the core staff, give them masks, make sure the restaurant is being kept clean and that your staff keeps the distance of 2m when dealing with customers.
Most importantly, don't give up on your business, noone knows how long that situation is going to last. You can't control those circumstances, but you can control how you're reacting.
Can vouch for Paperform.co. We're using it to manage all the landing pages and automate lead-gen. People leave their contact info through the landing, the data is then pushed to google sheets and an automated email is sent via Mailchimp, saves tons of time.
Working hard as a part of small events agency too. Most of our projects require creating online forms, managing attendee lists, accepting payments, sending out follow-up emails — that type of workflows. I'm using Paperform.co to automate all these processes and loving that tool. I create all the online forms in Paperform, then use integrations for payments (PayPal or Stripe), data-collection (google sheets normally) or emails (mailchimp or autopilot). Some other tools I use and can vouch for:
- Things for personal tasks.
- Monday for project management.
- Zoom for conference calls.
Good luck!
Check out Paperform. I'd switched to Paperform 6 months ago and never looked back. It's the best and most intuitive form builder out there, probably the only one that allows you to create forms that look really good too. Supports all payment systems + has all the possible integrations.
