Do you have any management experience? Do you know how to read and create financial statements? Do you know how to do sales/marketing? Do you have relationships with vendors?
I recommend getting a copy of The E-Myth Revisited. It will help you understand the systems that you would need to setup to form the basis for your enterprise. Borrow a copy from your local library.
Per Sling's terms of use, section 1.3, no. I would likely say that since DirecTV offers commercial-use packages, that wouldn't work either.
Did they just send you static images of a generic website or is that your content? Because the photos are pretty generic stock images.
I feel pretty positive about your site. I'd ask your guy to make sure they run Google PageSpeed Insights on it to make sure those images aren't too large and there is nothing weird, and to make sure that you have Google Analytics installed and know how to use it.
Your site is based on a Word Press theme I am familiar with, so you may want to look around and make sure that they haven't sold this exact same theme to other restaurants in your locale. If they have, I'd ask them to customize it so that it is easily distinguishable and doesn't look the same.
Make sure that they install a blog widget, even if you don't use it immediately, you may want it later. Have them show you how to swap out images in the CMS. Are they responsible for backups, or are you?
A good start. They should give you access to a demo /staging site so you can see how it looks in different browsers and devices.
I decided to build my own point of sale from scratch and this has been a massive success for us.
We run a kiosk app, online ordering and delivery. We also have our own point of sale using Stripe.com/terminal for payment, and we have honestly grown because of this change of inhousing all our technology.
We are currently experiencing near Coronavirus sales and this week is 20% more than last week.
In my practice, every site that can have many reviews about your business can help or destroy your business. Of course, Google my Business really has the most impact on your reputation, since it is most often shown in search results by the name of your brand or company. It is important to keep these reviews clean and give a detailed response to every negative one. Of course, sites like Yelp Reviews may have less useful reviews, but this does not mean that you need to drop them. I've just hired an employee who monitors reviews on various sites, such as Yelp, trustpilot.com, scangator.com and we even ask our customers to fill out small reviews on such sites about our service. Try to always keep your online reputation clean
Try switching completely to deliveries & takeaways. Move fast. I faced the same issue 2 weeks ago, made that painful change, and now making at least a portion (~30%) of usual revenue with deliveries and pickups.
The first step is ramping up your online presense. Use a tool like Paperform to build an online ordering system, will cost you only $15. Then reach out to your customers and let them know that you're still operating, send them a link to your ordering form.
Once the orders start pouring in, employ back the core staff, give them masks, make sure the restaurant is being kept clean and that your staff keeps the distance of 2m when dealing with customers.
Most importantly, don't give up on your business, noone knows how long that situation is going to last. You can't control those circumstances, but you can control how you're reacting.
but what i would do is look at the offerings and rank them by how they meet your needs and cost:

and then maybe find a local restaurant group to ask people their experiences, or go around to similar restaurants and see if you can talk to owners and see what they're using and see what they recommend.
it's likely they have either been burned by harbortouch or know someone who has, and would be likely to help.
If you just need to generate the image for a URL, you can use something like this: https://www.qr-code-generator.com/a1/
Just google "QR Code Generator" -- You should be able to create a QR code from any website URL.
Just have to be careful when you print it not to stretch it or resize it too much, or it could become unreadable. Also, you need to print it with some margin around the QR code itself for most phones to read it easily.
You could probably create some nice, simple web pages for your menu via https://carrd.co/ (a free website builder) that would be nicer looking than Imgur, if you're just putting images from your physical menus on a nice clean background.
I use slack because it has some outstanding features that fulfill my business requirements. But, there are many other good software's as well that can be quite helpful for the task and team management. You can easily view all these best task management software in a single article. https://weekplan.net/top-task-management-softwares.
That sounds fantastic. Good luck.
I have often wondered about 'breakfast only' restaurants. I can see that at first glance it would seem like you are saving money by running fewer shifts, but this to me seems like a math problem. What I wonder is, if you have the infrastructure, why not capitalize on it by running dinner also?
Now if it's a lifestyle business you're going for where it depends on you being there all the time, then I can certainly see why. But then you run into the E-Myth situation. Why not implement standard operating procedures to take yourself out of the day to day grind?
That's a really big, extremely variable question. Any number someone gives you here is going to need to be taken with a big grain of salt. I'd read this one to help out. Restaurant Success by the Numbers, Second Edition: A Money-Guy's Guide to Opening the Next New Hot Spot https://www.amazon.com/dp/1607745585/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_9Qxgwb2VM6QW9
You could take a look at Front of the House by Jeff Benjamin. I've read it and it was definitely good. He touches on some of the points you're asking about(although I don't recall much about keeping food fresh).
