It's tricky to learn but worth it if you plan on making a lot of these.

OK, after contacting the author of package, the bug is due to a big bug introduced by pgfkeys v3.0.0.
http://sourceforge.net/p/pgf/bugs/306/
For the time being, I restore pgf to the old version.
