When the mint app went to shit on Windows phone, a lot of people switched to Prism. I don't/haven't used either, so I can't give a first person insight but prism looks promising.
I use Prism for all of that. All my billing accounts are linked, and it knows when my next bill is due for each bill, and how much it will be. It also knows when my paycheck is, so I can budget for every bill that will be due before the next paycheck.
I downloaded Prism, I was able to connect all my accounts with no problems. The only downside I see is that it only has an app interface, I cannot access from a computer.
This is a neat post. Mentions SquareCash & Facebook Pay, but also Robinhood and one I haven't heard of yet: Prism
Prism looks interesting. Gonna have to check it out. Anyone else used it yet?:
Get a copy of your credit report and consider getting a membership with Experian to always keep track of your credit report so this sort of anxiety never holds you hostage again.
With that said, how did you not realize that you weren't paying a phone bill? You need to do better with that. Consider downloading an app called Prism. Puts all your finances in one place; you can even pay the bill on the App. And it's free.
>Bills are due at different days of the month, some the first few days of the month, some mid-month others end of the month etc. Currently, I get paid bi-monthly. So, I end of doing my bills two times a month. I wish I could sit down and pay all my bills once a month.
This is easy to fix. I personally changed each of my credit card payment due date to the 7th of each month (or first available date after the 7th). I have a Google Calendar reminder to pay my bills the last weekend of each month. Most banks have an option to change the option online. If not, call/send a secure message to request a date change.
If you want to keep track of bills, look into Prism and Finovera. They both support account syncing and manual tracking.
I really like the Prism app. You can pay almost all your bills through it. If it's a bill you don't pay online just manually add it. It'll remind you to pay everything on time and you don't have to go to 7383863 different websites. You can also link your bank accounts so you can see your balances. I used Mint for a bit but didn't like it as much as Prism. Only downside is Prism is only an app and doesn't sync to a website. Here's the website for more info. https://www.prismmoney.com
