I received the same email a month ago that Mint Bills would be discontinued.
I hadn't used Mint itself much and wasn't sure if I wanted to use full Mint site just for Bill pay, so I did some searching and found this:
Prism https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobilligy.android
I haven't yet tried it, so I cannot provide commentary on its usefulness, but it seems to be the closest match to the service provided by Mint Bills, if you want something that exists outside of Mint.
This info is readily available from mint. They do not use a token based authentication protocol. Unfortunately most banks do not provide such access to any third party.

We only store the information needed to save you the trouble of updating, syncing or uploading financial information manually.
Edit: added link
I downloaded Prism, I was able to connect all my accounts with no problems. The only downside I see is that it only has an app interface, I cannot access from a computer.
I don't recall if I've had that specific one, but I've had tons of problems with Mint's investment section. I've removed and re-added accounts dozens of times (which messes up all your historical data under Trends). Right now, it incorrectly says that I'm up between 1000% and 3000% for the year.
Mint's investment section is notoriously broken. I've just learned to live with that (since, as you say, the balance is correct). For my investment stuff, I use Personal Capital. Just remember if you sign up for Personal Capital, give them a fake phone number. They will call incessantly and bug the crap out of you.
Which company?
The best way is to open a ticket and send your question to support. You need to show on which page of your account the balance shows properly and which page it doesn't.
Search it here: https://mint.lc.intuit.com/mint
Open a ticket here: https://www.mint.com/contact-mint
While that is true, i find manual entry makes you pay much closer attention to where your spending is going!
If you're looking for apps that connect to banks, one that caught my eye is wallet by budgetbakers.
I just signed up so I never had YNAB 4, but I think I read about a discount for YNAB 4 users. Looks like it’s a lifetime 10% off each yearly subscription, so it’s $75.59 for you instead of the $84.99 for me.
I actually wrote two of them.

Just emailed them and essentially asked them to:
This is how they replied:
>Good afternoon,
>
>Thanks for getting in touch regarding connecting to a third party. We appreciate it.
>
>Account security is really important to us, and we've recently made some changes to the Robinhood app to help us protect our customers. These changes prevent some 3rd party services from connecting to Robinhood accounts.
>
>Mint is one service that has been impacted.
>
>Your account security is our priority and we’ve decided to make this change to further protect the Robinhood community.
>
>While we may revisit allowing third party logins in the future, we ask that in the meantime, you consider our recommendations on security best practices to keep your account secure.
>
>Enabling Two-Factor Authentication on your Robinhood account adds another layer of security because it requires two sources of verification--making it much harder for hackers to get into your account. You can visit our Help Center and read more information on how to set up Two-Factor Authentication.
>
>Let me know if you have any other questions--I'm here to help.
>
>Stay safe out there.
>
>Sincerely,
>
>Franz
Not terribly helpful or encouraging. But, I didn't ask for a lot - didn't get a lot.
At the present time this is not possible, but I know a lot of people have requested it. I would suggest submitting it as feedback through your online account.
To give feedback or product suggestions, please follow the instructions below:
Log in to www.mint.com
On the Overview Tab, scroll down to about the middle of the page.
On the left look for the tile that says FEEDBACK “Tell us what you love and what you need. We promise we'll do our best to address your feedback.”
Click the button that says, “GIVE FEEDBACK”
We take security extremely seriously. If we didn't and our customers could not trust us with their information we could never help them to the best of our ability.

So from my understanding it is and always will be only aggregate. I know we shared some aggregate information with some researchers at UC Berkeley and were able to write a great paper on the government shut down and it's economic effects on their employees.
From what I have seen and heard we take data privacy and security extremely seriously at Intuit.

We purchased a calendar whiteboard like this one. At least every two weeks or so, we break it out during dinner and fill it up with our dinner plans for the next two weeks to a month. Days with activities go down as "sandwich" or the name of the activity if it will serve dinner. Then we all take turns listing what we want to eat and my wife fills it in. We also plan for leftovers by writing "leftovers". Big complicated meals go on the weekend. Simple stuff goes on week days.
This has helped up stay on track financially, helped the running of our happy family, and has made shopping much easier. Every week, my wife (who does the shopping) knows what we need to get for the dinners we have planned. If something is on sale real cheap, we erase an entry and move it to the end to make room for whatever she picked up. If we miss a planned meal because we had leftovers or whatever, we erase an entry and move it to the end.
Its worked out really well. Our taco consumption is up at least 250% since we started.
