I think there is a misunderstanding. This is plug & play and it's free and has unlimited keywords+websites.

Maybe I wasn't being clear, I meant there are also custom code options available... but there is open source software like above that are plug & play and don't require any knowledge and aren't limited by how many keywords you can track. They work the same way any software online would, just that it's free.
It's of course up to you if you want to pay for a service.

Could potentially try this. Unlimited, keywords and campaigns are supported, but you are going to need plenty of proxies and a significant wait time if you want to get decent results.
I think GsusChord may mean https://serposcope.serphacker.com/en/. It looks good, but I haven't tried it myself.
How large it "a large number of keywords"? Are we talking 200, 2.000 or 20.000?
I would recommend Wincher, but they adjusted their pricing recently from unlimited keywords, for just € 2 per domain to € 3 per domain with max. 100 keywords and € 3 per extra € 100 keywords. Kind of a dick move if you ask me, but they probably have their reasons.
I have been messing with Serposcope to do KW tracking. It's free, although I ended up putting $2 into a captcha breaking program to make it work better. All it does is pull current ranking from Google for the KWs you give it. Very basic but does get the job of tracking done for free.
some cool freebies:
