I'm in the same boat as /u/McPantsington regarding a book, but when I started using OS X I found this list very helpful for keyboard shortcuts (to this day I cannot, for the life of me, remember the difference between the command(⌃) and Option(⌥) symbols! Having said that, Spotlight (⌘–Spacebar) is an invaluable tool for finding almost anything. It's incredibly fast on most systems, and searches beyond file names.
