>Open up SpyShelter, go to Keystroke Encryption>Advanced tab, switch to Better Compatibility Mode and restart your PC. At this point it should work well. Switching to Better Compatibility Mode will not compromise your security.
If you are concerned that your pathofexile.exe can perform GetWindowText and other 'gray' activities, install SpyShelter and limit the client file out like this
Not supporting the HUD or any other hacks. It just that those methods presented by OP raised my awareness as a person who cares about my privacy.
Install SpyShelter, there might be a chance it will catch up keylogging hooks post-installation (this program is ment to prevent rather than heal). Other than that, it should keep your keystrokes encrypted.
If you are truly paranoid...reinstall your system, it's always the ultimate solution :P
Norton is one of the worst, most laggy antiviruses out there. Besides, relying on antivirus is a biggest mistake you can make ever. You should mix protection methods. Personally I recommend Malwarebytes AntiMalware and SpyShelter. Why not an antivirus? Check the video here: https://www.spyshelter.com/blog/should-anti-keylogger-be-reviewed-as-anti-virus
Thank you, My endpoint is secure.
The thing about modern encryption software is that it works deep down on kernel level and even if you are highly infected, the encryption process will take place before keyloggers grab anything - that is in case of SpyShelter.
This is very useful to work when there is a high risk of getting yourself infected with a 0day keylogger, especially in the bank.
As for the antivirus software, I do not trust it at all. One of the reason being - it is just a business that doesn ot have anything to do with real security. All those fancy words: internet security, endpoint security, real time shield...blah, blah. 99% of antivirus users doesn't even know what 0-day threat is, because they bundle up antiviruses with almost every prebuilt PC and laptop and give people the illusion of safety.
I recall that a while ago SpyShelter posted a video with antiviruses failing against simple keylogger: https://www.spyshelter.com/blog/should-anti-keylogger-be-reviewed-as-anti-virus/
I have not heard about any commercial or non commercial keylogger that would be able to bypass SpyShelter.
I am more of a real time protection guy :-)
I do use malware bytes but it couldn't do shit against it too. but if we are on recommending software, the biggest underdog who wrecks other security suites is spyshelter anti-keylogger, basically it's a real time protection tool, detects setting hooks, injections and other stuff that mbam/antiviruses don't. Use SpyShelter to prevent stuff, it NEVER fails. If you look around the web you can find some discount codes for lifetime licenses, like 50% off. I was too lazy to install it at first glance cause it requires a system restart and I wanted to install as much drivers/apps before restart as possible (do everything to save time, end up on imgur wasting time on watching cats :D)
Funny thing about this malware from this photoshop torrent - it replicates the security software. if you are for example scanning system with avira, it will launch a box similiar to avira box (with icon and shit) saying that it is scanning your pc, with progress bar which I assume get's the malware back into your system
Perhaps a keylogger on your PC? Some friend sent you any 'cool ahk script' lately?
Install SpyShelter anti keylogger as soon as possible.
Probably you got keylogged and your e-mail was compromised.
Thief received the e-mail with unlock and instantly deleted it so there would be no trace of it in your inbox.
That's why applications like SpyShelter exist. They detect all the application activities and alert you about what's going on and let you decide either you want to allow a specific action or block it. It filters shit like setting keyboard hooks (for keylogging), dll injections, memory reading and stuff.
i like spyshelter firewall, has good per app blocking, HIPS & keystroke logging
https://www.spyshelter.com/spyshelter-firewall/

also for more basic needs you could look at glasswire/tinywall/simplewall/windows firewall control
yeh see what a few scans say with hitman pro/malware bytes and maybe a free av online scan with kav/eset or notron power eraser.
something you can use to prevent leaks of software/screenshots/keylogging i (but is paid) https://www.spyshelter.com/spyshelter-firewall/
Also tested using https://www.spyshelter.com/security-test-tool/
MWB flagged it as malicious upon installation; I marked it as "never report". But when I ran the tool, keylogging worked fine and neither AVG nor MWB reported the keylogging. Clipboard monitoring worked and was not reported.
Then I installed a real keylogger, Spyrix Free Keylogger, http://www.spyrix.com/download.php Neither AVG nor MWB complained as it was installed. Confirmed that it was capturing keys and clipboard, neither AVG nor MWB complained. Did full anti-virus scans with AVG and MWB, neither complained that the keylogger was installed and active. Also scanned with Spybot Search & Destroy (free); not flagged as a threat. Also scanned with Windows Defender; not flagged as a threat.
Thanks for the suggestions. I will have a look at them all.
I found https://www.spyshelter.com/ myself. It says it encrypts keystrokes at the kernel level, so a rat would only capture garbage text from me typing.
How does that work though? When I'm typing text in a text editor, is the text editor not simply acting as a keylogger for my keystrokes? How could Spy Shelter make my text editor read my keys accurately, while encrypting them for malicious keyloggers? And how would I know it works for all malicious keyloggers?
Apparently my problem was resolved uninstalling SpyShelter, an anti-keylogger (https://www.spyshelter.com/) and rebooting.
Mind that to discover this I had to uninstall every protection program (like Avast, Comodo, Spyboot etc) and every time 0xE019100B shut me down.
This means that Xigncode is using some kind of keylogging. My suggestion is to DO NOT WRITE ANY PASSWORD while xigncode is open.
I hope this helps someone else.
Use SpyShelter Anti Keylogger to prevent keyloggers and account losses. Antivirus software is mostly utter crap vs spyware. There is a free version which should be enough for most cases.
