If emulators are allowed in this list then I vote for SuperGNES to play any number of old classics.
But if you're being picky about it, then I really enjoyed Pixel Dungeon as my favorite roguelike on Android.
As per the faq for SuperGNES here the only thing you get for the "paid" version is save state support and game genie selection.
I don't use the extra features I paid for but it's $4 (AUD) so why not support the dev?
SNES9x is definately a good alternative. I use Super GNES as I find it more polished, but it's personal preference.
