Voor mensen die een oplossing zoeken voor de door jouw genoemde problem:
Een adblocker voor Chrome
Een ondertiteldownloader voor VLC, niet perfect, maar wel snel
To add to that :-) - .srt files are a simple text file with lines of text and the timing indicating when they should be shown.
The name of the video file indicates what it was ripped from (DVD, Blueray etc.) if you use a .srt file, let's say from a DVD rip, on a Blueray rip, the timing may be slightly off which will be annoying.
TIP: if you are using VLC (everyone should be using VLC!) there is a small add-on that allows you to find and download the correct .srt file. https://addons.videolan.org/p/1154045/
If you suspect that the sub you're looking for does exist on opensubtitles but you just can't find it, then try this.
VLC ha VlSubs come estensione: https://addons.videolan.org/p/1154045/

funziona alla grande, ti cerca il sottotitolo sia per hash del file video che per titolo, non fallisce quasi mai
I have tried multiple sources, but have had most success with the VLC plugin called VLSub. It produced results for me even for movies which didn't show results in Open Subtitles, and automatically downloads and applies them to the currently opened movie.
Download the movie from Youtube (or from torrent)
Download VLC media player
Then download the VLC addon- VLSub. It's an addon that searches for subs to the movie playing.
If no success, your only alternative is to search for the actual sub file online. Baidu would be best.
