What is Reddit's opinion of VoodooPad?

VoodooPad has this feature and calls it Backlinks: https://www.voodoopad.com/documentation/backlinks/

The fact that Bear can automatically find and update backlinks when you change the name of the note they're linking to makes me think it wouldn't be too hard to implement this feature.

Check out Zim. The website says it can be run on OS X once some dependencies are met. Those can be installed with Homebrew or MacPorts.

VoodooPad is another option.

If you are a terminal user, there is Emacs Wiki Mode, or potwiki for Vim.
