SwitchVPN. Works fast, connects everywhere every time (on the phone only through LA/SF tho), quite cheap.
Don’t go for express... around holidays all expat groups are flooded with whining about express vpn...
This is one of the VPN issues/lies just happened this week:
SwitchVPN MacOS Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
i suggest for you to watch:
Roger Dingledine - Next Generation Tor Onion Services
FYI ( I think that only a few are reliable) (good) -ExpressVPN: Express VPN International Ltd. British Virgin Islands (BVI) -CyberGhost VPN: CyberGhost S.R.L. – Roumania -NordVPN: Tefincom co S.A. – Panama -VPNTunnel: Edelino Commerce Inc. – Seychelles -ibVPN: Amplusnet S.R.L. – Roumania -Astrill VPN: Seychelles
(not good) HIdeMyAss: AVG – Nederland PIA: London Trust Media, Inc. – USA IPvanish: Mudhook Marketing Inc. – USA VyprVPN: Golden Frog, Inc. – Sweden PureVPN: GZ Systems Ltd, Hong Kong Freedome VPN: F-Secure Corp. – Finland Buffered VPN: Buffered Kft – Hungary SwitchVPN: India PrivatVPN: Privat Kommunikation Sverige AB – Sweden
SwitchVPN is great for torrenting. Good benefit is that SwitchVPN is non US company and it uses Tier-1 bandwidth. While PIA uses low quality bandwidth as it is giving cheap VPN and purchases Cheap Bandwidth. SwitchVPN only uses Tier-1 bandwidth provider and never compromises about Quality of network and performance.
You can sign up for their 1 Month free account and test it out. :)
Hello,
It is promotional offer, it is not free for lifetime.
They offer limited time free VPN. So users can experience the quality of VPN.
SwitchVPN does not do any logging and allows p2p downloads unlimited.

Hello,
SwitchVPN is working well in China, can you please provide me your VPN username or ticket id So i can check and contact you regarding resolving the connection issue. Looking forward to your response
Regards, SwitchVPN Support
It hasn't been the last week likely because of governmental meetings. Your the fourth support member to tell me that though. I'll pm you my username
Edit: I contacted customer support about my issue. They confirmed that SwitchVPN is working in China. However, for me it is not and I have not heard back from them about my ticket. At this point I've switched VPN services.
Edit2: My issue was never properly resolved. They just kept telling me that their VPN wa working fine in Chinaand never followed up on my ticket with any troubleshooting ideas. I have used their service before without issue but recently something changed. I have since switched over to PandaPOW for VPN services in China.
I've tried them all: I'm currently using SwitchVPN: Reasonably priced, fast, up to 3 devices simultaneously. After the trial I bought a semester in advance! Astrill: Excellent but more expensive. ExpressVPN: Sluggish and expensive. : Reliable and CHEAP, but slow.
I use SwitchVPN and have been very happy with it. I actually get faster speeds using it than when I was torrenting straight through my ISP. I've seen a lot of people on reddit recommend Private Internet Access, as well. They're both about the same price (~$40 per year) and have roughly the same features so check them out and see which one looks best to you.
Try SwitchVPN (or any VPN that uses OpenVPN, really). They give you a ridiculously high download speed and no data caps. On my 40mbps connection (tested max of 40) I was getting as high as 30-36 with the VPN.
Not sure how that scales up to 1gbit though, but I'm guessing you'll be getting in the 100 mbps range on torrents which is more than most torrents reach.
