> What if I work for a shop that doesn't have that database?
If you are in the know, you can get it now on an Android phone. The subscriptions are just what the shops get to keep straight with their certification requirements.
That's not just for car stuff either. I can make a long distance shot a lot easier now, with the help of an Android phone, out to over 0.7 mile / 1.15 kilometer.

Applied Ballistics is $30 or Shooter is $10, both are excellent and have input from Bryan Litz

I'm not sure what you mean by that.
It does product a graph which you can control the parameters of.
If you didn't see the graph, you didn't scroll down far enough.
But, again, I'm not sure what you are saying -punch in my drops - the chart gives you your bullet drops at various distances.
There are Ballistic Calculator APPS you can download to your Smart Phone or Tablet.

Someone suggested - Applied Ballistics -

Does that help?
My mistake.
I picked that app because it lets you 'true' your data based on field results. This one looks similar but since I no longer have any android devices I haven't used it.

If you can find something that uses the JBM Ballistic Engine it is supposed to be one of the best.
I live in the Apple walled garden, so no personal experience with other ballistic apps. Well, years ago I used a Palm and Windows CE app; probably not helpful though.
For PC/Android many people recommend the Bryan Litz apps, and the YouTube videos of them look really good.
Hmm, the most recent review is bad, claiming that it doesn't work and that support isn't responding... worrying for an expensive app.

But you say it works fine? What Android version are you on? 6.0.1 here.
I have already proved it. The Coriolis/Eötvös forces have a measurable effect. Long-range snipers and ballistics manufacturers have to take it into account, unless they want to continually miss their targets.
So, in addition to NASA, the ESA, the Russian Space Agency, the Canadian, Indian and Chinese space agencies, you now have to add the US Marine Corps and the US Special Forces to your list of conspirators.
Not to mention Apple and Google, since there are apps for the iPhone and Android that allow a marksman to account for these apparently non-existent forces.
That's a good idea! This one? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appliedballisticsllc.appliedballistics
I wonder if it's in Strelok Pro as well, I already bought that one.
is it on android now or iphone only?
Edit. Checked and its available now. Check out "Applied Ballistics" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appliedballisticsllc.appliedballistics

Applied Ballistics will do both.
