5217 is basically saving my semester so yeah, highly recommend it and it's been free fro a couple of weeks. Get your shit done, r/android!
This is a great idea, and it's so true that just receiving the notification serves as more of a distraction than anything else.
>Now, you will have one place that shows every notifications you want to check in your free time (this is key).
This part is definitely key. Android users, a great app to use to help you make that free time without compromising productivity (IMO) is 5217. It allows you to set custom time periods that you can use to split work and any small personal tasks you need to perform, similar to the Pomodoro method.
Not exactly what you asked for, but I assume you want to improve your productivity, and a great app for that is 5217. I highly recommend reading the description of the app to understand why it functions the way it does. I can add to that by saying it's totally non-intrusive and let's you just break the cycle whenever if you need to.
Recently downloaded an app called 5217, same concept as pomodoro only you work for 52 minutes and rest for 17.
Studying days are a little less excruciating now.

I've used 5217 at work before. You can't customise the timing but it's very minimal and works great on android wear. Very tap and go, easy to use and looks nice.
Not quite Pomodoro but similiar: 5217
52 minutes of work, 17 minutes of break. >According to findings from The Muse, frequent breaks throughout the day can improve productivity. Specifically, a piece published in the summer of 2014 found that the most productive cycle is comprised of 52 minutes of work followed by a 17 minute break.

Some beautiful time management apps:
5217: best app I've ever downloaded for Android. 52 minutes of work; 17 minutes of rest. It's based on an article that compiled data comparing the work time - break time ratio to productivity. The best part of all is that it constantly runs without you needing to tap the app (unless you want to stop it and reset). If you have phone notifications on your computer (like from Pushbullet), you get occasional reminders to keep at it, telling you how many minutes left. The whole app is very simple, yet feels very natural. Highly recommend.
Link isn't clickable for me on mobile, so here:

Looks beautiful, hope this helps with my procrastination.
PS also downloaded NapTime, and it's beautiful too! Do you have some source code available, or recommend some tutorials? I need to up my UI game
Franco made a nice app that does this: 5217
Sounds very similar to 5217: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.timer

The app 5217 has a wearOS companion app. I haven't tried it with my Galaxy Watch yet to see if it syncs with the phone however. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.timer
I actually only know the numbers because it's the name of the pomodoro app I use, haha.

5217 only on Android unfortunately
Just started my day. Finishing up some assignments, now.
All the best, man! Try to use this app called 5217. The 52-17 rule is apparently very helpful to maximise productivity. It's essentially a glorified alarm system that helps you work 52 minutes and take a 17-minute break after that. It's been pretty useful to me. Here's the link to the app on the Play Store.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Try 5217. Got it recently. Been using it for a few days now. Really love the design and wear support is great. GPlay link
I haven't used it but I use a lot of the developer's apps and he does great work. Has a wear support as well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.timer

It looks like it's an app that tells you when to take breaks? Not 100% sure.
