I prefer using Amaze Browser.
It intercepts all videos for websites so that you can play them with VLC, MX Player, etc. (I've yet to run across something that it has trouble intercepting). Has a decent adblocker built in too. Plus the Dev commonly posts on this sub-reddit too.
Torrents are super simple and do generally have the most robust collection of content, but there are definite risks involved (like malware torrents and getting flagged by your internet provider). For someone new to the process, not knowing what to look out for and not being familiar with VPNs could understandably be a bit intimidating.
Easiest way I've found is to use a browser that scrapes videos from sites to download directly. Makes all the "cancerous" sites pretty much a non issue as you don't actually have to watch the video on the pop-up, ad-filled site, (though honestly I feel sites like Pornhub and Xvideos are just as cancerous in their own ways, either with low quality, partial content or spamming search results with fake content, not unlike Pinterest).
My lack of access to a reliable computer has made me far more familiar with doing all this on an Android mobile device, so I can't really offer any suggestions outside of that platform, but the apps that have worked well for me are Amaze Browser to scrape the videos and Advanced Download Manager to download them. I've used them for years and both are trustworthy, reliable, and permission friendly.
Hope this is useful for some people out there, and sorry to all the desktop/iOS users for which it's not.
And yeah, totally don't understand the upvoting of the "full vid" comment. Downvoting the comment complaining about needing porn to be no less than 1080p is somewhat understandable though.
Amaze Browser instantly gives you a 'new media found' popup. It basically gives you url to the video file that you can download/stream with VLC, MX
I recently started using Amaze Browser.
It can Video/audio detection So that will be able to download or stream to chromecast or use other Video players rto play video links.

Actually yesterday I saw an app that can help to play youtube in background. Amaze Browser in playstore, it catches youtube links, then you choose play with, then choose "MX Player", click 3 dots in MX Player choose the playback mode to "Background Play" and you can loop one if you like.
The app stores the links in 24 hours and displays them in a list that is quiet convenient to choose your videos once and later go back and choose the one that you want to play
The new app came out lately works pretty the same way as Web Video Caster, it automatically detects video links from websites and lets you cast them to Chromecast, now with the new update you have the option to set the title and subtitle, and hide what you're actually watching, which gives you a bit more privacy.
Amaze browser does an extra step by saving the video links, so even if you stop casting, close the app, when you open it the links you found are still there, so you can easily resume your playback.
[UPDATED] Amaze Browser is back to playstore, Google finally decided to reinstated it. The downloading is - Amaze Browser
Hi angelboy65, the problem with this app is that it's not a real app, it's just a website wrapped in a browser app.
To play the streams on sportsarefree.xyz in an external player you can try opening the website in Amaze Browser and let it catch the media. You can now try to open the catched m3u8 playlist link in an external player like MX Player but unfortunately MX Player wasn't able to play it here. I tried several other media players but none of them worked for me. Hope you have better luck..
Amaze Browser, I've only had very few sites have problems with the app intercepting the videos. Once the app identifies the video you can download or open in a external video player. (Doesn't work with you tube, you'll need a dedicated YouTube downloader for that)
Maybe you can try Amaze browserhttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sibimobilelab.amazebrowser, the new app that intercepts video, mp3 and other audio links from websites you visit and download with fast downloader, you can also direct to other download managers as well
This is how it works for me. Install Amaze Browser so it can catch the youtube links, choose play with, then open with MX Player.
In MX Player setting you can turn on "background play", and that's everything you need :)
amaze browser. It is an old app, but it identifies any video that plays in that browser and lets you download it. If I have to download some video from the browser, I go to this app. I have been using it since 2017.

I hope you've enabled video assistant (settings > useful features > turn on video assistant)...
Some sites are stubborn though. Can you link me the site you're tryna capture media from?
In the mean time, you could also give Amaze browser a try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sibimobilelab.amazebrowser
some video players don't have that gesture. You could try using an external player like with amaze
& vlc or mx https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sibimobilelab.amazebrowser
Not remote friendly
It has video player support inside the browser and ad block If you want remote friendly use web cast like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sibimobilelab.amazebrowser Or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instantbits.cast.webvideo
It simple, lightweight, and also has audio/video detector which provides direct download links. Only issue I'd say is that the AdBlock is really bad.
Replace Chrome with Amaze Browser It's lightweight, has an in-built Adblocker, dark mode, bubble mode (like Flynx), a download manager, it detects videos to download, and many other features.
It says it's unavailable in my country (US). Amaze Browser was updated today. What do you mean Samba was previously known as Amaze?
[UPDATED] Amaze Browser is back to playstore, Google finally decided to reinstated it, good news before the new year. The downloading is - Amaze Browser
Amaze v 2.0.0): - Added new themes - light, dark and mixed. Mixed theme is the same one as in previous versions - Improved download stability - Allow setting download folder, remember recent selected folders so you can easily organize your files - New setting - auto hide bottom bar while scrolling web page - Fixed bug when app cannot start on some devices with incompatible version of google play service. All functions will still work without issue except Chromecast. To enable casting to Chromecast you need to upgrade google play service to the latest version - Removed translation feature to comply with google policies
Amaze browser has built in ad-blocker, download manager, intercepts videos, mp3 and other type of audio links and save them for 24 hours. With the source links you can play with some other apps like MX Player, VLC, or some floating video player, you can also cast to Chromcast or download to local disk, it's free and has no ads. So with all those features would you give it a try? :)
Here are some of the apps I use:
I use Amaze Browser for your same reasoning. It's a really solid and consistent app
You should try Amaze Browser
Amaze Browser can do this.
I use Amaze Browser for this
I think this is great https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sibimobilelab.amazebrowser You can play through Chromecast too
technically puffin browser but you have to give up your privacy for that.. i like lightening browser it's fast and lite (not a real browser just like puffin but looks cute and handy haha)
