I have the same problem with my Galaxy S5. I still use the stock rom because of Ant+, and it s terribly outdated.

It is probably possible to integrate Ant+ in custom Roms:

There is an app called ANT+ Enabler (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.z2software.antplus&hl=en) which actually enables ANT+ on many devices including S4 using root-access. I'm not an expert, but for me it means that it definitely possible, maybe nobody just looked into it.

Also I have ANT+ working on Moto G with LineageOS. This device probably also have signeg firmware, but still this support was implemented somehow.

The fingerprint sensor works, and i found this app on the Play store which is said to support LineageOS. VoLTE/WiFi Calling doesn't work, though.

By the way, why do you want a CyanogenMod snapshot? LineageOS is CyanogenMod's successor and runs on Nougat.

PSA: Don't buy the G900A and G900V models. Their bootloaders are locked so you can't flash custom ROMS.

For what it's worth, I was able to use the manual script here on my Nexus 6 w/ 6.0.1, it should work on the 6p, too.
