I use Battery Charge Notifier app, set on 85% (you can choose notification, vibration, sound, ...) and Mi Band Tools set to the app notification.
Android? If so, get Battery Charge Notifier so you can at least try to do the 40-80 rule. Ad free, no sus permissions.
>That "keeping your phone battery between 20-80" really make a difference and prolong your battery life?
Here you have a source and an interesting reading for that claim.
I use battery charge notifier to respect the "rule"; I like it because it works and doesn't have ads.
The number of charge cycles for lithium batteries is not that simple... what physically damages the batteries and reduces their lifetime is heat and charge damage, and most of that damage comes from discharging below and charging back up to about 35%, and then charging above 80%. These "ends" of the charging rate charge slowly precisely because this is where the battery wear occurs.
By charging the battery before it drops below 35%, and by stopping that charging before it goes over 80%, you get a fast charge with minimal wear and tear on the battery, and the battery will take many more of these partial charges before showing damage effects. 2 or 3 partial charge cycles like this do a LOT less damage than a single charge cycle of discharging to, say, 5 or 10% and then charging to 100%.
I do the same with my phone using an app something like this to tell me when to plug and unplug the power.
So I typically charge my Ignite when, as I'm getting into the shower, it shows less than 50% charge. This extends the overall lifetime of the battery...
Found a Lightweight, simple and to the point, set high and low %'s, Notification sound/vibration, FREE.

Battery Charge Notifier
Only 2 permissions: Version 2.1.2 can access: Other
run at startup control vibration
NOTE for Nougat 7.0: ◆ If you are using a ◆◆◆Samsung◆◆◆ device with Device Manager, it can interfere with the operation of Battery Charge Notifier by deactivating it when the user hasn't launched the app in a pre-defined period (e.g. 3 days). Since Battery Charge Notifier is designed to work mostly in the background without the need for the user to launch the application in most cases, this can be an issue. You can workaround this problem by adding Battery Charge Notifier to the white list so that Battery Charge Notifier will not get "optimized" by the Device Manager. Here's how to do so: Settings → Device Manager → Battery → Un Monitored Apps" section → Add Apps → Select "Battery Charge Notifier".
EDIT: set repeat notifications or you will only hear the sound notification once. When set you will hear sound notification about every 15 sec.
I use battery charge notifier to get notification when battery get 90% and 20%. The high and low battery level can be edited.
