I do. I like the UI.
I also highly recommend 'Blue Letter Bible' app. It's great when really digging deeper into scripture and the original language. The UI is not so hot, but the info it provides is amazing.
Check out the blue letter bible app.

You can click any verse and see the original Greek and Hebrew along with its translated meaning. Very helpful for understanding why translation say slightly different things.
Imho you use a phone or tablet? If android down load free mysword app and Blue Letter Bible app. These will let you check many versions free and use the compare function to see which is best.
I like NASB for accuracy forveasy reading NKJV. Be sure to check out the ISV very accurate yet not awkward to read.
These are all better than the GNT that is a paraphrase of the Bible by one person. On other words, the GNT is a one person commentary or thoughts and views of the Bible. It is their beliefs on the Bible not really a translation of yhe Bible but an opinion of the Bible. mysword app
>Tried reading bible but boy, that's hard. I barely understand 1% of the words.
Let me guess, you were given a King James Version. Weren't you?
It's not a bad version by any means, and quite a beauty to behold when read. Nonetheless, it is hard to read. Personally, as someone who loves the KJV, I've come to prefer the New American Standard Bible for actual reading and studying, but I've also come to prefer having the ability to access multiple versions so I can always compare notes, so I keep Blueletterbible's app on my phone and Biblegateway on my desktop browser around at all times.
Yes, I think that'll solve that for you.
>Is it considered rude to go up to a church and ask the preacher?
No. If a preacher finds it rude, he shouldn't even be preaching, and if the church finds it rude, get out immediately.
It offers the largest number of versions you'll ever find in a bible app (and that's before considering premium), many different commentary takes (which is always good: you should never, ever settle for one person's commentary), bookmark and highlighting options, a side-by-side dual version option to let you read two separate versions at the same time, a robust search feature, and has both Greek and Hebraic available as well as many other features.
Plus, I've found most bible and Christianity-related apps to be horribly designed - BLB is one of the few that isn't.
Firstly, prepare yourself. Satan is real and he will try to beat you up hard and fast to try to get you to turn around and stop following Christ. There's plenty of times things like this have happened to me, and I've heard of it happening to a lot of other people. Just hang on to God for dear life and it will eventually pass.
Secondly, your flesh is probably not going to be very happy with some of the changes that will be happening. Matthew 16:24 says:
>Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
It feels like death because you're killing off the sinful part of yourself, the part that's been killing you and those around you. It doesn't feel very good, but I know from personal experience that it's well worth it. Again, just hang on to God for dear life.
Thirdly, if you don't have one already, get a Bible. You don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get some fancy leather-covered tome of onion paper. There's tons of free Bible software out there that have extraordinary amounts of study materials, everything from Bible translations, to original Hebrew and Greek texts (which come in real handy sometimes), daily devotionals, books, dictionaries, etc., etc. I personally use Bible software exclusively for my Bible reading and study. If you're a Windows user, theWord is probably your best bet. I would also install e-Sword, since it has some study materials that theWord doesn't have. If you're a Mac user, you can try Eloquent - I've personally never used it, but it looks pretty nice. You can also use e-Sword on macOS, but the Mac version of e-Sword costs $10. If you're using Linux, Xiphos is a great option. I personally use it. And if you're a mobile device or a Chromebook (or anything else, for that matter), Blue Letter Bible is amazing. It has mobile apps for Android and iOS, and a website for everything else.
Fourthly, learn what you're supposed to be doing. God doesn't want to just save us from the consequences of our sin - He wants to save us from the sin itself. In order for that to happen, we need to be on board with getting the sin out of our lives and bringing life into the lives of those around us. There's two places in the Bible where God lays out exactly what He expects from those who follow him. One is the Ten Commandments, in Exodus 20:1-17. The other is the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5, 6, and 7. After that, the words of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the most helpful, comforting, and amazing parts of the Bible.
Fifthly, get together with other believers! Fellowship is exactly what it sounds like - two guys, one boat. Even if you can only find one other Christian to fellowship with, it's a good start. You can feel free to chat me if you'd like. I'd love to fellowship with you. I use Reddit daily. I usually go to bed at 5 in the morning (due to my work schedule), so I'm available at night, but might be asleep in the day.
Hope this helps! Love to love, and love those around you. It's the only fulfilling way to live!
Peace to you. May love light your path.
I would also recommend a newer translation, or even multiple translations since it helps to compare what the authors intent was.
If you want to have a word by word break down of the original meaning of the original Greek and Hebrew then use the blue letter bible.
You will thank me later. This is also available for iPhone and desktop. Blue letter Bible is such a great tool.
