Thx for the request, maybe I’ll add such an option – or an option to blur wallpapers. For now, you can use Apps like “Blur Wallpaper” (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.appdictive.blurwallpaper) to, darken, or well, blur your background picture (Note: That’s just a personal recommendation, not and ad).

I think it looks pretty good but I personally would use this app to blur the background a bit to make the icons pop out more. It's just a preference though so obviously you should do whatever you feel looks best.

I think I found a solution that involves 2 apps:

1. Set any of your photo via Google's wallpaper app. Make sure to apply it to both the lock and home screens.
2. Open Blur Wallpaper to blur/darken/de-saturate your current wallpaper. Make sure you don't apply those changes to the lock screen (doesn't do it by default anyway)

That app doesn't appear to be maintained anymore unfortunately but it's still working for me on Android 13

Thank you very much! If you want to have the wallpaper always tinted, I recommend adding the tint directly to the wallpaper (for example, you can do that easily with Blur Wallpaper, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.appdictive.blurwallpaper)

I use an app called Blur Wallpaper, which lets you dim your wallpaper (as well as blur and remove colors, if you want to). Useful if you have a picture you like, but which is too bright.

Hey everyone! This setup is made using KWGT. It's just a 1 page setup. And the arrow is a widget too. I made the wallpaper look blurred by using an app called "Blur wallpaper". The time and date widget is from "Outline from KWGT" and I'm using the oxypie icon pack. Please let me know what you guys think of this setup.
