I built one, but went a different route and didn't use the magic mirror software on a RPi. Instead, I built mine with 2 separate fire tablet 8s behind the glass.
Since I use Smartthings for home automation, I use a tool called Action Tiles on one of the tablets. It displays the time, the status of the weather, thermostat, security system, garage door, lights, fans, motion etc... and updates in real time.
The second tablet has Google assistant added to it using fire tools for hands-free "ok Google" commands. I also use this app to cast to it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softmedia.receiver.castapp
Just type cast reciver on the play store, they all kinda work some of them you have to pay for premium which means you can only do 30 minutes a day

CastReceiver: turns out android device into a Chromecast equivalent:

Then you just have to figure out how to cast the signal you want to broadcast.
There actually is! I can confirm that this works if you can sideload it to your FireTV https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softmedia.receiver.castapp&hl=en
I've used one in the past to turn my Chromebook into a cast device but I don't remember what it was called. It did work fine though, even on the Samsung Pro's very unusual screen. I think it might have been CastReciever. Now I'm just using a real Chromecast and TV though.
You're correct about having to go to the tab to inspect elements, but I hope you aren't actually needing to manually refresh your page each change! There's much better ways out there my dude, it should update automatically, and ideally without a full refresh at all!
Sorry, yes that is correct. To clarify, I assumed that op might at least be interested in a mirroring ability. Here is another that I found, this actually lets your device show up as a Chromecast device to cast to.

But yes for specific applications like Netflix there is no such thing.
Download Cast Receiver:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softmedia.receiver.castapp
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softmedia.receiver.castapp Install on phone. I also have this installed on my phone. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.agondev.easyfiretools Which allows you to push and phone installed app to your fireTV and install it.
If you want to go old fashioned way. This appears to the same app. https://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-tv/general/chrome-cast-receiver-fire-tv-t3708913 Then sideload how you normally do
If you're using SideQuest and can sideload 2D android apps, have you tried CastReceiver?
