well if you're interested, it's an Android game called Cave Run Kids.
It's free, no IAPs, and no sneaky business with the permissions. I believe the ads will attempt to access your general location, so that it doesn't show you an ad in Spanish if you live in Alaska, for example, but that's out of my hands. As I was trying to explain, I don't think most devs are out to steal your phone data or look at your dick pics, it's usually for things like ads, use of peripherals like the camera (if a game offers that), billing rights, etc. Not that I'm saying you shouldn't be careful, just don't put on your tin foil hats right away.
Not exactly what you asked for, but AirConsole is a browser based local multiplayer platform where your smartphone is the controller and your tablet/laptop/monitor/smart tv is the screen. It has over 20 games and counting.
Cave Run Kids is an endless runner where you control two characters.
Perfect, it's definitely fast to show, and addicting to master. It's free on the Google Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TelefragEntertainment.CaveRunKids
Make sure you let me know when you're done so I can share the lets play on my twitter, if you're cool with that. Thanks!
Cave Run Kids is fun, addicting, and free. Game play is perfect in 1-2 minute intervals. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TelefragEntertainment.CaveRunKids
Disclaimer, I made the game. That doesn't mean it's not worth checking out tho!
Congratulations on your first game guys! Your first game is always exciting, and a huge learning experience. Take note of what people say and use it to make your next game better! I'm going to make some comparisons to my recently released Android game Cave Run Kids because it's something I can readily explain.
First thoughts on the Play Store listing:
Great artwork. Not your typical "my first game" squares running around circles on flat backgrounds.
A video! So many first releases underestimate the necessity of a video on the store.
The store icon is a little bit uglier than the rest, maybe touch that up a little as it's selling the rest of the artwork short.
Description is well written, easy to understand, and combined with the screenshots and video, let me know exactly what to expect when playing.
Intall... wait almost 40mb? This is taking a while...
First thoughts on game:
Game icon is very nice.
Title screen looks lovely, but it would be awesome with some kind of animation. If that forest background is seamless I would make it scroll slowly. Also, add the title to the title page somewhere.
The music is nice. Sets the atmosphere for a "hobbit" like game as your reddit description read.
Gameplay:
Again, art looks great, especially for a first game.
Nice mood for the levels with rain and lighting effects.
Gameplay is slow and rather dull. After 2 levels I lost interest, played the third but it felt like more of the same. The gameplay is balanced, but it's just not that exciting to me. As a mobile game it should throw the player quickly into an exciting and/or rewarding experience quickly. I designed CRK to be played for 2 minutes at a time, or as I call it "toilet gaming". The Dwarf occupies the same target time frame as CRK, 1-2 minutes per level, but doesn't hold my attention too well.
Coins and scores seem to do very little. Highly recommend using coins to unlock new characters or weapons.
Bugs: Relatively bug free. The only thing I noticed was after I die the UI at the top gets a little jumbled and shows a clock counting down. Also getting killed when the screen moves too close if you get stuck behind something is annoying. If your going to kill the player, it has to feel like it's something they did.
Conclusion: Overall this game is great for a first release. You two have some talent when it comes to art and creating ambiance. I would probably use ads between levels instead of IAPs for a game like this, I just don't know if it has the replayablility to get someone to buy levels. Great job guys, I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.

Cave run kids for Android! None of those dirty IAPS!
Well this is a screenshot of my game Cave Run Kids just a few days into it's release. It's not like people were preordering it by the thousands, but I'm happy with a few looks. The best part is that it's getting a lot of positive comments about the gameplay, so that's exciting.
Here's a look at February's GAME OF THE MONTH!
5 For Fighting, a NES Style mutant league hockey-ish game. It will be for PC and support up to 4 local players with controllers. Most of the work so far has been the menus, gameplay will start getting looked at next week.
Cave Run Kids!
Out now for Android devices: Get it on Google Play!
Cave Run Kids puts the player in control of two characters at the same time, requiring fast reflexes and quick assessment of obstacles in their way. Using a touch screen device the player simply taps the left side of the screen to move the player on the left, and the right side of the screen to move the player on the right. Simple, addicting, and fun.
The game has been out for a little over a week now and it's getting great responses. Would love to hear some more feedback about possible new enemies and obstacles to add, and maybe some more ideas for characters to play as. I'm working on a complete graphic overhaul for a March update, and want to add a few more nice changes too. Enjoy!

PC version if you want to play on your computer, however the social features that require Google Game Services wont work. Still fun tho!

I had a blast making this game in just over 30 days as part of my MAKE A GAME A MONTH challenge. It's getting very positive feedback from everyone who plays, so I couldn't be happier. I also made my first "Press Kit" so if anyone wants to give me some feedback on that I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Someone also did a nice review of the game here.
