A (machine translated?) Japanese version exists, but if you look at the comments from Japanese users you can see that they're not satisfied with it.

Character Planner.
Lets you plan out your story's world, characters, chapters, and scenes through fill in the blanks. You can link everything together for reference so you have an entire story outline.
It backs up to your sd card and has a restore feature. It does not, however, use a cloud.
You can buy the paid version if you want for some tiny little fee, but it's more of a "support the developer" thing since the free version's only limitations are very unobtrusive ads, and the inability to change the interface color.

An office suite can be very useful for things of this nature, but doesn't work out of the box per se.
I really do recommend the character planner linked at the top. Has details you can fill out, frequent updates, excellent portability and doesn't clutter up a table. Many different stories and ways to tie them together. The downside is that it's for android/tablet so typing can get a bit tedious. And there's not a sync option yet. I still do recommend giving it a look over if you haven't already.

There are magic schools. But I am still working on the finer aspects like at which age they start schooling and how long their schooling is for. Aah! In your case, it will be very difficult.. So, are there holidays for which students go home since I think the school is a boarding school in your world?
You are welcome! That is cool about the deserts. Are there plants like insectivorous (Venus flytrap etc...) but for humans?😅 In case they are in the IR, then it would make it difficult for someone to cross the desert without being properly equipped..

Looking forward to the sketches of the weapons if you ever decide to post them on here. I came across a post where someone had shared their sketches of weaponry and an army veteran gave a detailed analysis on which of those would work and which won't. I reckon this would have been very helpful to the person who posted the sketches.
Thank you! As I am a very textual person, I cannot imagine the weapons I have in mind before I actually describe them in words. So, not entirely sure how they would look. Yes, world building, I believe, requires more effort.
It is not a complicated application at all. Most people use it with ease and it is just me who is finding it difficult.
I am truly sorry but I have confused the two houses and thought that Æstiva and Saga were siblings. Saga's ability does sound cool. Does that mean she can alter the light waves to see the IR trees? I will be very vested with Æstiva's backstory!
