It can also help with coding, or at least the general grasp of different logic and cause/effect stuff
On that note, there is this cool game called circuit scramble which is just you tracing a circuit and changing the inputs until the output is true (like an easier blocky's revenge) and has a great soundtrack too
Not the author, but I enjoyed it, and you may too
Hey guys, so I've just released my first game on Android, and my current concern is my game's tagline and descriptive text. Succinct and effective writing has never really been my strong suit.
I don't think it's too bad, but I would love to get some opinions on it. Any other general comments about the game/store listing would also be very welcome!

For anyone having trouble understanding this explanation I highly recommend you try out an actually fun app:

Circuit Scramble is a puzzle game that uses actual logic gates--just like exist inside integrated circuits/computers. Playing the game for a few levels will have you understanding all the various gates in no time!
Disclaimer: I have no relationship whatsoever to this game other than I installed it and like it.
If you're able to, check out the game Circuit Scramble; it has lots of puzzles to pick from. There's a video which will give you the idea here.
It's a gate puzzle.
So, gates respond to simple inputs. For example an and gate will only turn on when both inputs are on. and or gate will turn on when either gate is on.
You can combine these to provide simple logic puzzles using input torches and output torches. "These torches be will only right when there are three"
You can have lines leading to a wall with different glyphs representing different gates.
I'm trying to link to a prebult puzzle I made but having horrible luck. take a look at this game if you want an example.

Project Title: Circuit Scramble
Promotion Type: Release (Android)
Role: Developer
Link: Google Play
About: Circuit Scramble is a 2D puzzler that throws you into the world of circuit based logic. Control your current as it flows through a series of logic gates(ANDs, ORs and XORs), and attempt to find the correct inputs to solve the puzzle.
Trying to find a unique spin on a puzzle game here, and the response so far seems to be very positive! I'd love it if you would take it for a spin, and let me know what you think!
Free on Google Play, no IAP.

There is! It also teaches about gates and their usage. Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Suborbital.CircuitScramble
I can recommend some of the books from when I went to school 2010-2012. These were some of the core books in my program. I just linked to the first google search I found for each book.

-Introduction to Biomedical Equipment Technology by Carr Brown; might be one of your course books. It's kind of a overview on the biomed field in general.

-Principles of Electric circuits; pretty sure this one goes over AC/DC circuits
https://www.amazon.com/Principles-Electric-Circuits-Conventional-Current/dp/013507309X

-Electronic Devices conventional Current Version (Goes over resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors and other small electronic components)

-Digital Fundamentals; I think this one goes over logic gates, binary code, hexadecimal code, etc).

Also I found a game on google play the other day that uses logic gates, kind fun and worth checking out; it's called Circuit Scramble

Really simple, fun little puzzle game that teaches how gates work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Suborbital.CircuitScramble&hl=en_US
