I wouldn't even know what team to trust with a MM or HoMM successor.
This seems to be what the founder of 3DO, and head behind those games does today. :/

If anyone is looking for a new mobile game to play...my brother's startup company recently released their game Creature Quest so trying to garner some support for it. Made by John Van Caneghem, creator of classic RPG, Might and Magic. Give it a try and check out the sub for info /r/CreatureQuest. I can genuinely say it is quite fun and addicting. Thanks!
