You're exactly correct.
They even specify it here: https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=488848#ad
>advertising third-party resources . This applies to both individual files (for example, spam.url , ***. Nfo , or text file prochitay.txt containing messages about earnings in the Internet), and addresses in the names of folders / files in the distribution.
It's literally because of the .url file fitgirl includes in every repack.
There's nothing malign with fitgirl repacks.
To add a bit more spice to the pot, Bioware apparently has no plans at all to release any singleplayer DLC for the game. (Kotaku article)
Perhaps they completely gave up on the singleplayer part of the game and decided to remove denuvo for that reason lol.
I strongly suggest banning repacks entirely. I love Fitgirl and respect her, but people can follow her website and subscribe to the RSS feed.
It feels that filters are now an inseparable part of the subreddit and using them is mandatory if you actually want information about cracks.
Reddit Enhancement Suite is far more effective in filtering unwanted content. You can filter based on post flair and title ("daily releases" for example) only on specified subreddits. /r/CrackWatch filters have to be manually applied and only one can be selected at once, don't work on your account front page or with multireddits.
RES filter settings: https://www.reddit.com/r/CrackWatch/#res:settings/filteReddit
On a side note: After installing, you can compress the game from 74GB back to 21.3GB using CompactGUI. The game can still be played normally with no performance loss.
I'm gonna ask, why even bother?
Yuzu compatibility - bad: https://yuzu-emu.org/game/hyrule-warriors-age-of-calamity/
Ryujinx - crashes galore https://github.com/Ryujinx/Ryujinx-Games-List/issues/2862
These switch releases really inconvenience these people that don't know how to upgrade their emulators and expect it to "just work"
The game is on GOG.com, which means no DRM at all. Why do people bother with "cracked" versions of gog games? Makes absolutely no sense. Just wait for the gog version to be on the tracker.
Thanks again!

I have of course verified that the torrent is from RARBG and not tampered by the uploader. Can RARBG really have added a miner to this release? Have there ever been any reports with RARBG?
You are saying that we should buy the game? You are saying it to the community which is only waiting for cracks? Community where members are so desperate that they think someone like you can actually crack Denuvo or Origin? This "release" is a spam. You dont deserve any support or respect. The only thing you ever tried to emulate is Revolt or other known group. The big problem is that you dont have the experience or education to do anything like they do. You are making your releases big but they are unstable just as your emotions.
It looks like a damage control. You know you wont be able to crack anything so you tell us how bad are we for not supporting you for your not working cracks, troll us with this release of abandonware and basically say "fuck you poor plebs", then make people think that you will continue cracking under bigger name (spoiler: you wont).
Also here is a better release: http://www.myabandonware.com/game/fifa-99-a5l
> VLC is specifically closed source
What? Go to their main page and read the first sentence. Then go here for the source code.
Also... what does VLC specifically have to do with anything?
Use a proper VPN that doesn't store logs.
Such as one with official documents where the US Government couldn't get any information from them... because there weren't logs
Private Internet Access is one.
You can use CompatGUI after you install the game, it will reduce the size to about 70~ gbs with all the DLCs i guess. And yes, the game will run just as fine, even better tbh, it improves loading times and helps with the stutter for me at least.
I'm quite positive it's possible. A similar type of emulation has been done before, have a look at a portion of SKIDROW's source code for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (the one with always-online Ubisoft DRM): http://codepad.org/FhhVs5RK
The problem is Denuvo. Wouldn't modifying the games binaries to include the emulated code trigger Denuvo?
You said every game on steam has steam DRM. There are plenty of games without any DRM on steam. These games work even after uninstalling steam and require no crack.

https://poperblocker.com/privacy/
No, thank you. They claim it's not used for "other" reasons and that they don't collect personal information, but who cares about what they say, you never really know.
Also, the "we don't collect personal information" thing is bullshit anyway. A URL can contain not only personal but also relevant information, including email addresses and tokens that may be used with malicious intentions.
>If this is really her, that's bullshit.
it is her reddit account she changed to infinity queen then goddess also her mods in the element.io channel say to leave and they lost contact to her.
Better that checking Crackwatch everyday, is using RSS, in Chrome you can use RSS Feeder and add this:

Even salted hashes from high profile websites have been cracked. Just look at this list of some of the bigger website compromises, the vast majority of those sites have had their user data leaked to the public. This just shows how common it is to have your data leaked. Cs rin ru uses some common board software so their encryption is easily cracked.
There's several reasons for getting slow speeds while downloading torrents. Most likely reason is very few seeds or low speed seeds. It's also possible that your ISP is throttling torrent traffic. It might be an issue with port forwarding, but not as likely as something else.
To start troubleshooting, try downloading a legit/legal torrent like a linux distro. Check https://www.ubuntu.com/download/alternative-downloads and download one of the torrents there. I can get 12MB/s on those easy. If you are still getting unusually low speeds downloading one of those, then you know it's not a seed problem. Either your ISP or routing issue.
If you do get good speeds with the linux distro, try finding some more trackers for your torrent or a different torrent all together. Some sites list the trackers available for each torrent, and those can be added to a torrent you're already downloading to pull a bigger pool of possible seeders.
In addition to all that, you may also want to check your network settings and maybe try a different client. qBittorrent works great for me. Make sure UPnP is turned on. If you're using a VPN like PIA, try a network with Port Forwarding (Toronto on PIA), and change your incoming port in your torrent client settings to the port listed in your VPN client. If you're not using a VPN, don't worry about any of that.
EDIT: For anyone checking this thread for similar issues, check http://www.torrenttrackerlist.com/torrent-tracker-list/ for the latest list of torrent trackers. Most torrent clients have an option to automatically add a given list of trackers to each new torrent. If you're using qBitTorrent like me, open the options, select BitTorrent in the left pane, check "Automatically add these trackers to new downloads," then paste the list of trackers there. Doing this can increase your chances of finding more higher quality seeds for every torrent.
I wouldn't even know what team to trust with a MM or HoMM successor.
This seems to be what the founder of 3DO, and head behind those games does today. :/
This is how I'm dowloading on 1fichier without any problems at all, taking 10 minutes per part to download.
• Enable VPN
• Click on "download" to go to the next page
• Disable VPN
• Click on "Click here to download" to download without time limit and at full speed
I'm using the free version of Betternet, just be sure to disable the VPN every time before downloading, or else you'll reach the free data limite in seconds.
That's a pretty dumb thing to say, considering you're posting in a thread where PIA proved you can trust it, even in a US court, even when ordered by the FBI to give up their logs.
Unless you're planning on an attack on the President, you're obviously more than safe enough with PIA. Absolutely zero reason to "stick with the way better more secure ExpressVPN or NordVPN." Not that there's any proof those two are safer than PIA.

Your own comment ROFLMAO. It is the citation on PCGamingwiki on the Origin version not having Denuvo, so congratulations?
If you have a controller other than a xbox one, you could try the x360 controller emulator. It has helped me with quite a few controller issues in the past, maybe it will workd for this one too.
This is one of my favorite games. The modding community is still active after 15 years, I recommend playing with the mods "BFME (2) HD Edition" and "Age of the Ring" https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-horse-lords-a-total-modification-for-bfme
The answer is fairly simple: See the Bitcoin whitepaper Section 4 ("Proof of Work") https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
When you send Bitcoins to someone you are creating a cryptographically verifiable and irrevocable record in a distributed ledger called the "blockchain". Blocks are a summary of all transactions which occurred during a period of time in the Bitcoin network. Certain information from a block is combined with a nonce to find cryptographic checksums (using the Secure Hashing Algorithm 2) which are mathematically difficult to compute. Bitcoin defines checksums beginning with lots of 0
s as difficult to find, and defines the block time as 10 minutes. A value called "difficulty" is used as part of the calculation of each block, determining the number of 0
s which must be present at the start of a computed hash for a proof of work to have occurred. Essentially, looking at the amount of processing power available in the network, the peers determine how much difficulty is required to find these difficult to compute hashes every 10 minutes. If solutions are found at a faster or slower rate then the difficulty retargets to try to get back to 1 block being solved every 10 minutes. When a miner solves a block, they append a transaction to it which says "I am paying myself the block reward" (currently 25 BTC, originally 50 BTC - halving every 210,000 blocks until all 21mil BTC are in circulation).
For anyone starting this game just now:
Beware that there's a HUGE game-changing bug that affects pretty much everyone. No fix by the devs, you need to fix it yourself manually: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/RAGE_2#Broken_difficulty_menu_fundamentally_alters_game_play
> does anyone know where the save files are located? i want to buy the game on steam and move the saves over there but i don't know how.
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Pathologic_2#Game_data
Search for the folder 505230
on your system.
It really depends on your taste in games, if I knew I could be a bit more specific, but for me personally I like to go on Steam and browse the "New Releases" or "Popular and upcoming" and it leads me to some middle of the road games that are pretty solid.
There's also itch.io which are all indie games, but there's a lot of variety from demos, to early access titles, to full featured games, some of it is crap, but a lot of it are games made by smaller devs who can't really afford to market, or just want to release their experimental titles.
I also look to older titles from GOG, I love CRPG's like Fallout 1 and 2. It also can't hurt to just browse Steam in general and search by genre and see if anything looks good. There's a lot of fantastic smaller to indie games that get buried by AAA games on Steam.
Like I said, if you want to tell me what your interest are I can try to be more specific in a recommendation.
I mean its free for grabs for limited time atm, i dont think they care that much about piracy.
Granted, its free on epic games but w/e
Edit: link
Crysis Remastered has denuvo too, i'm starting to think that all games published on Epic Games Launcher receive Denuvo at a very small price or something. Which is interesting considering how Epic Games give 2 games for free every week. I suggest lightshot, you can set it and forget it. whenever you want a screen, just press Prntscr and you can instantly crop anything from you screen and directly upload it online and have a copy-pasted link.
NordVPN and PIA are both VPN providers.
NordVPN is pretty up there on the best VPN, if you're having trouble with speed, and able to connect to wifi nearby, try using that and see if your speed is any better. If not, the VPN is probably just slow. If it's better, your ISP is probably throttling you.
Yea but there is risk. Download one of the free vpn software out there (I use Speedify) and change your country to whatever you like. Then login to steam or create another account and buy the game. You can family share from then on. BE warned: I won't be responsible if they ban your account.
hello there please read up about them. they were struggling to fund the game please buy it to support small devs.

What?
No man. Thats not how it works and its not listing steams price anywhere on there, thats its previous previous price. CD key sites often have games on discount and sometimes they don't. It depends on how many keys they have for sale or a deal directly with developer.
CDKEYS is constantly on slickdeals when price drops PUBG. Was as low as $18
> not all Kojima games have Denuvo
Didn't say they did. I just used their most recent major releases as comparison points (someone else here also did so, for other reasons).
Incidentally, Ground Zeroes was released before Denuvo started trading.
>Remember how much Taxman and Stealth were pissed off because Sega included Denuvo in Sonic Mania
No, actually. All I recall was one of them complaining that it was implied that the developers alone were responsible for issues with the DRM/offline gameplay. Source.
A little digging, however, turned up this source, in which another developer states that:
>>DRM is not something our team makes the decision on
But this is in reference to the delay shortly before release, after which it turned up with the unannounced DRM attached. I can't tell whether he's talking about that specific decision to delay or the general decision to use DRM in the first place.
>if he is the one responsible for this, he will instantly become my latest blacklist entry
Blacklist away. If nothing else, he chose a publisher who employed anti-consumer DRM. I'm looking through some of their other games on Steam right now, though, and I'm seeing quite a few with no DRM, not least Bloodstained, which released simultaneously on Steam and GOG. In fact, they've released quite a few titles without the DRM, and I think their most recent prior use was in Abzu and Adr1ft in 2016. Many of their releases are DRM-free.
If anything, the evidence suggests that this is more likely to be a Kojima thing than a 505 thing. His only valid game had the DRM, whereas most of 505's do not.
You have to go and "buy" it in the store, the Mod kit is free.

Where can I find Dishonored 2 for ~$20?
Steam has it for $60.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/403640
Okay, I see.
Here is the listing for $20 or so.

Is there an even cheaper listing?
Honestly nothing of note I can think of. There's SWtoR (the f2p mmo) that might work for ya. There's the old battlefront games? Not exactly new.
I'd recommend looking into the KotoR 1 and 2 mods and patches if you haven't tried them though. KotoR 2's The Sith Lords Restored is particularly well liked.

Hi there, I am Gregory Engels, one of the members of the Freedom to Share ECI organizational committee.
I would like to thank u/Hattori_Hans for posting this info here about the initiative. To let you know, the post here has caused a rise in signatures of 20% in just under 23 hours. Meaning we clearly need to work on our press and social media coverage :)
We are looking for supporting organisations who would like to join the campaign and write about the ECI, maybe even include our signature widget into their site, in return, we'll add their logo to our supporter page.
And, we also got a couple of new donations on our OpenCollective site https://opencollective.com/freedom-to-share
that all is just great!
Thanks to everyone who signed.

Some nice changes especially this "General and agent skills are now seen in a tree view.", there's now an actual skill tree you can look at as opposed to the bullshit we had before, I don't even know what to call the piece of shit it originally was, took their damn time changing it, this change should've been a high priority after the games release, how can you have a bunch of skills without a skill tree is just beyond fucking stupid. But whatever.
Nothings really changed in terms of the in game battles, it's mostly just campaign map stuff, the AI is still retarded, moshpits are still a thing, the battles are still 1v1 only, it's just shit honestly for some reason they refuse to fix this, at least we got modders to fix this stuff though so there's that at least.
Holy asscrackers there's a lot of fixes in this update.
I've already beaten the game and finished 2 endings, i think i'll way for another year or so before i reinstall and beat the game again going for the other endings, i went Nomad the first time i think i'll go Corpo next time.
They're listed in the 1.0.7 patchnotes that Ubisoft posted the other day:
>Addressed various issues that prevented quests from completing – including Home Sweet Home, Perikles' Symposium, and Mother's Prayers.
The problem is that, at least in the case of Perikles Symposium, you cannot progress in the story without doing it. That's why I'm really hoping CPY see this, and re-crack the game with that patch included.
I figured this out before but can't remember exactly what I did. I know I used Search Everything software so located every .vdf file on my PC and I was able to sort by "Last Accessed" to determine which one the game was using after I opened it. I was then able to replace this config with the one I wanted to use. It was a bit of a pain and I can't remember if it was using the Spacewar config or what. Let me know how it goes!
That's a myth.
It was vulnerable to this very exploit until the patch on Tuesday. That had nothing to do with "randomly clicking on shit."
It is particularly weak when it comes to zero-day protection. That means any site that is injected is a risk. Any site that uses flash is a risk. Any app or site that uses Java is a risk.
https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-10/
88% zero-day protection. 10% behind the industry average.
Yes, for this variant Kaspersky detects it. https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/1a891a43dc2049b7684b98c6f941e9e90282b355b5e250d1dd3ae84f06eedb30/detection
You can check here for the latest tests and can Filter for what you want. https://www.av-comparatives.org/latest-tests/
But then again Microsoft still does send off a ton of FP's compared to the other bigger names according to the tests done. Either way lines up with real world data.
any mirror for the latest version? https://keepass.info/download.html when i press the download link i get this message:
503 No Backend Servers Available No backend servers were available to answer your request. Please notify the site admins.
I know which part you're talking about, and no it doesn't! Here's a quick video I made showing it doesn't have that in this version.
Malwarebytes considers cracks as malware. I usually don't give much weight to the reports and have considered deleting the program, but in the latest report "Trojan.MalPack" is detected in uplay_r1_loader.dll
file. The game torrent comes from a trusted Pirate Bay (https://thepiratebay.org/) uploader.
All other cracks are reported as "CrackTool.Agent" or "RiskWare.GameHack".
Nah, Krydar has a shit explanation for laypeople. The link he gave, you're meant to click save/load button top left, go to file system, save to file.
With that .cpp file, THEN you use VS2019 and basically follow the first 3 steps here
it'll leave you with an .exe buried roughly somewhere in local disk>users>yourname
search for a folder named source for the created .exe
this is the .exe you drag and drop already hex edited .d2s files
She also used gender slurs and stuff which got her Infinity queen acc suspended from reddit. ( hence why she made Infinity goddess and then her element.io which is now dead also)
Mullvad is pretty good and really secure, you can set it up for one time payments for like a month, or charge monthly. Its under 10 USD last i saw, and you dont have an account, so theres no personal data being shared
Hmm since you can't access them from any device I'd guess your ISP is blocking them, but it's strange that the same thing happens on mobile data too. You might have to use a VPN. TunnelBear offers 2GB of bandwidth for free. You can install it to check if those website are accessible through it.
I don’t think any are free actually. TunnelBear has a 5 gigabyte download limit trial. PIA is only 6.95 a month and it’s amazing, I’ve been using it for about a year now. They don’t keep logs of anything so torrenting is completely safe.
I've used PIA (Private Internet Access) and Vypr. i prefer PIA personally, easy to use, pretty fast, and its prices are very reasonable. Vypr was also good when i used to use it, nothing bad to say about that one either.
Well using one is a good thing for sure. I absolutely support their use whether you're sailing the high seas or just watching YouTube. Disabling for a game would be fine too. I more meant to keep it on for everything you do through a web browser. That said, there are lots to choose from. I can't afford the up front cost, but the one I want when I have the extra money is NordVPN. YouTuber Internet Comment Etiquette is sponsored them and they usually have some kind of deal for multiple years subscription.
Yeah this was essentially my problem. I had incredible speeds with ExpressVPN that were only 15-20% max away from what I get without a VPN running. When I used PIA my max speeds dropped to the floor, and I tried multiple servers that should be closest to me... NY, East Coast servers, nothing mattered - garbage speeds regardless. Was pretty dissapointed, as I know multiple other people who use it who didn't seem to have the same complaints.
Why dont you just get a damn VPN?? 40€ / Year for PIA/Private Internet Access.
That should be a no brainer in 2017..
Then no need to "be careful", (How could you do that? You cant know what torrents are monitored, it can by anything from hugely popular to totally old and unpopular stuff, and IP filter lists dont work..)
Just pay 40€ and you are good..
Keepass2Android (Android implementation to have your passwords available on the go, generates also TOTP 2FA tokens so you can discard Google Authenticator)
None, unless it's stolen while you have the database open and normally you should enable a reasonable inactivity timeout in the settings.
Ordered this Cable. What's the best way to spoof the game into thinking i bought a ubisoft cable these days?
I just use this simple Behringer Audio Interface, works flawlessly for me.
Congrats on releasing a really solid looking game, and for being the kind of dev that is so proud of his work that he is willing to give it away in the hopes that people enjoy it so much they decide to buy it.
Ignore those that are trying to call you out on your self-promotion, they are just trying to jump on some sort of internet-shit-flinging-help-I-have-no-social-skills-or-spine bandwagon. Promote your game however you choose! Tons have supported you, and more will (myself included) so I hope you find some encouragement and confidence from all this!
Just to reiterate on some of the points I made in reply to others (in case you miss them):
Awesome stuff!
> If I could recommend in the future could you upload to...
You should show no fear on behalf of the mods! Practice that which you preach! Show no fear!
Just to add something constructive, the dev could just post the game to itch.io for everyone to try out. Might even work as a future sales or promotion platform (kinda like Mindustry).

It's been a long time, but I seem to recall some config tweaks helping me as well. Might be worth checking PCGamingWiki. I know that UE3 has a lot of client-side texture-streaming stuff you can adjust based on system and video memory.
PCGamingWiki has a way to turn off motion blur for DX11, but I've been running it on a 2060 with an i9750h (with ray tracing) on the latest drivers and recommended settings from the and it runs pretty well with DLSS on, except for a few hiccups and stutters once in a while.
Here is the Nvidia performance guide

Does anyone know how to make the Headbob removal trick work? I tried the steps listed in the wiki, but the file structure doesn't seem to be the same. The batch file that comes with the FoV fix tries to execute a file that doesn't exist.

hopefully this helps. From what I recall it is as easy as putting the map file on the game directory according to the directions. Run the game, run a custom skirmish once on that map. Game loads immediately, ends immediately, and then after that for as long as you play that one game instance youll be able to zoom out a lot more than vanilla. If you exit the game and run it again, you have to repeat steps. Does not take that long and is worth it
After looking at the site - link - I think it's just a monthly subscription service for EA games, and now Titanfall 2 is being added to the monthly service.

>seeing how it is now funding Epic's Epic Exclusitity Store I have a real reason to actually hate it.
If for no other reason, this should be the only reason you like it. Steam's monopoly is unreasonably hard on developers and publishers with budgets that are AA and below. They need competition. People are creatures of habit and so without a reason to force traffic away from Steam, they would continue to get essentially no competition. GOG isn't doing it, the itch.ios of the world aren't doing it and companies that have the funds to do it, like EA, don't care to put the effort into doing it. If you can think of a more effective strategy other than, "Derp, let the free market decide, derp," I'd love to hear it.

In nvcontrol panel set Vsync to 'Let 3D application decided'
This makes a huge difference and fixed all performance issues for me. I only have 3gb Vram, and can now up everything to near max settings.
For those of you crashing to desktop at the Playground Games intro, please download these and place it on root folder: https://pixeldrain.com/u/r6SfL2ta
Run the game using the "steamclient_loader.exe" on the root folder.
why wait for the firgril reapack when you can already download it. i just downloaed the portable version. all you have to do is download it and play it. no need for fitgirl. its a slow installation and half the time it doesnt work.

Couldn't find ape out anywhere that wasn't from IGG until i searched in TPB and found one from an uploader named dauphong but after downloading i found IGG branding.
I really miss GOD.
Aye. Use the ID number from this airtable list, and then swap it in cheat engine for whichever car you want to buy. Just be aware that, as I said, where the old trick let you buy your expensive cars for the price of the dirt cheap one, it doesn't do that anymore.
It's pretty easy although it makes the game crash (I'm not sure now though because I used the UWP cracked version), but you could still keep the car as long as you did it right, in case the crash happens. If it didn't just repeat the steps.
Forza Horizon 4 Car ID's - List of the car id's that also gets updated when there's a new update.
Here's the tutorial on how to get it - using cheat engine
Have never played this so can't tell you personally. Couple of suggestions though -
Check info on save files etc here - https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Hunter:_Call_of_the_Wild
Check in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\ somewhere to see if maybe there's a separate folder for Codex saves.
Good luck mate! 😉
I never personally installed this game (and the repacker would've deleted it by now) so can't help with that sorry but I suggest you go to this BattleTech PCGamingWiki page as they list all save locations there. Very helpful site to have bookmarked 😉
You can get it for cheaper on Greenmangaming.

I hate shilling this but I hate to see people spending extra money for it when they don't have to.
Neither does Overpass but it's yet to be released. The best “DRM” is lack of exposure... Unless the publisher decided to sneak in advanced protection without mentioning it on the store page.
