The last one I used was D-GLES and it worked well. Demo version here.
I intend to try Delta Touch next because it seems to offer alot more features.
You might also come across .pk3 files. They work almost exactly like WADs. You should be able to open them the same way.
Since all the old id Software engines get open sourced there are actual ports of Doom for Android. No reason to emulate it when you can play it in native resolution with touch controls, mods, etc. All console versions have major drawbacks (except perhaps the modern Xbox 360 version but that's not relevant here)
Even Doom 3 has a port. All the old Quakes too. Probably Wolfenstein 3D even.

To be fair, I've never actually used any of these ports. These are just from me searching the Play Store; I'm sure there's APKs of ports available elsewhere. But no matter what, source ports are the way to go with old id games over emulation.
