Honestly, it just feels like such a budget PC title to me. It's sort of fun but god it feels so flat and the voice acting is PAINFUL.

I have. I bought it first day of the summer sale after all the hype. The game revolves around repeating missions a bunch of times until you finally level up enough to complete it. There's nothing fun about having to land 30 headshots in a row just to kill one enemy (whose character design bleeds mediocrity) that's a higher "level" than you.
This game is literally a mobile game, repackaged with VR slapped on for PC. If you like mobile games, then I won't judge. But I personally can't get over all the half-assed and mediocre designs.
Dead Effect 2 was originally an Android game. Just saying.
