The google play store version hasn't been updated since December 2018. Which phone, and which store did you download it from?

Not interested in emulating PSX games? I also highly recommend Dragon Quest VIII, a very good and long game.

I would never buy a game for 60$, do games really cost that much these days? Or is it only on windows? I dunno, don't care about that market and I definitely don't care about the games you listed. Not my kind of games at all.

I do know however, that ports on android & ios do sell for 20$ and more some times. Eg: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq8

(And yes, I'd buy that in a heartbeat if they released it for linux, even if I already owned it). The question about already owning a windows version doesn't even apply in these cases because they're not aiming those games at (ex) windows gamers, they are aiming at people whom want to play game A on platform B. Nothing more, nothing less.

Square ported DQVIII a couple years ago. It only runs in portrait mode for some ungodly reason but it is a full blown enhanced port of the PS2 game.
