Go with Google Calendar
You can add stuff online, it automatically syncs to your phone/tablet/etc. Including iOS. Bonus: you can use pretty much any calendar app to view the calendar. I recommend Etar

I hope you're able to collect unemployment, especially if it was COVID-related.
I haven't downloaded this either because I can't live without sync'd desktop use which 8t makes no mention of. It looks like a really oversimplified horizontal calendar given how the trailer didn't even show any support for locations, details inside events, etc.
So far, nothing has been able to beat the open-source Etar for me for years now, pretty much ever since it came out.
The old original stock Android calendar is broken.
Need to go with one either on the play store or from a rom.
I've read that Etar is okay https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ws.xsoh.etar
And I've used LineageOS. You could just extract the APKs from the zip file.
Etar the open source calendar
Why not go with one that is open source? Then you know what the contact permission is used for.
And if for whatever reason you don't want to use Calengoo, you can use Etar instead
Try Etar OR Simple Calendar (Both are FOSS)
I installed Etar and it seems to handle the repeat events fine. He's open source too so maybe can get a idea from that.
