Hello Guys, I'm the author of FastHub, I would like to let you know that the reason was behind making of FastHub was due to the fact that most the (few) Github client apps are either don't look good or buggy, I know that FastHub design is not perfect or its 100% free bugs, but yet I think it make things easier for browsing & interacting with Github from your phone & I'll be gladly fixing bugs for a long term.
FastHub does contain ads, but I know we DON'T like Ads, so its disabled by default, and its your choice to either enable them or disable them.
FastHub as well was developed from ground up by not relying on Github app or cloning other Github clients and just fix their bugs, it took me awhile to develop it, since last year October, it could have been finished awhile ago, but then I'm an employee and couldn't really find much time to finish it earlier.
Please let me know of your thoughts, what could be improved and what is missing and maybe we could work it together to make it better than its current state!.

I really like using FastHub. You can even get the pro features for free if you install it from FDroid (though I grabbed the pro upgrade eventually since I used it enough).
I'm curious how an official one might stack up.
Give Fasthub a try.
I don't think these have been requested yet, so here goes.
Features
Keywords - Being able to search Poweramp with "mus %s" would make sesame's search a lot more useful.
Better file search - here's a list of what I'm looking for 1. Allow me to select which file extensions to show/hide by just typing them in a list (or a regular expression) - audio/opus is missing, among other formats I frequently use. 2. Add recursive and regex/wildcard show/hide for folders - I would love to show folders in /sdcard/Android/data/*, but they're always hidden. That's fine as a default, but it's annoying to not be able to change that. Additionally, being able to hide all folders matching */.git would be great. 3. Allow searching a specific path - if I type /sdcard/Android/data(/), suggested folders and files should be found in that folder. 4. Root plugin - I frequently edit and explore files in the root folder, so being able to do that would make my life a lot easier. 5. Index tags, attributes, metadata, size, and contents - if I search "savant" or "artist:savant" I'd like to see songs which have an ID3 tag or VorbisComment that matches that. 6. Allow showing/hiding files and folders based on anything in the index - if I could hide empty folders, that would help a lot.
Apps
F-Droid - shortcuts & search

FastHub-Libre and probably FastHub - shortcuts and search
NewPipe - open source YouTube (and SoundCloud) frontend - shortcuts and search

FastHub is actually a really good GitHub app, it just recently reached feature parity with the website too.
I didn't know that was an official client. I've always used the free and open source client: FastHub.

I've been using FastHub for about a year now. It does everything I need, it's stable and it's free.
