Ouch. I feel for ya. To answer your question, it depends on where the key is. If it is encrypted and the key is only on your busted tablet, then yes you're pretty much screwed. If the key is in your google account or samsung account (I don't know what tablet you had) then you should try it on a similar model and login with those exact accounts and exact apps you had. Also, did you try viewing it with a PC?

I brought up ES because I'm certain it has the requested feature, and the spyware thing has been discussed before over on /r/android in this thread. I'm personally not convinced it's spyware, but if you are then by all means try one of these:

I Have been using this APP for some period. It helps me to mange my pictures, musics, videos and even documents. And I can upload my files to GCloud so that i can save my storage.

I use to write something on my phone when i'm outing. So I use private cloud in File Expert to hide my story.
