Also, Foldery is pretty simple; nice and clean and dows one job (kind of) well. If you want to check out an app that does a similiar function and much, much more, see Folder Organizer. Ive been using it for probably close to 5 years now or more. It lets you make folders from apps and create shortcuts to them, but it has other tricks like scrolling widgets, icon changing etc etc.
I've just spent the last 24 hours upgrading from a similar but less polished app that's I've been using for years (folder organizer).
Really enjoying the added functionality that Jina has provided, especially the app sorting.
+1 highly recommended.
I use Folder Organizer. It's a bit out of date but it's still the most functional one I've found. Custom folders, reminders to sort new apps, can be backed up so your folders stay in tact between ROMs (if that's your thing).
The workaround I use is a combination of Folder Organizer and Popup Widget. I save my popup widgets as shortcuts in Folder Organizer and make folders by adding them to Labels (another word for folder) in Folder Organizer. They're both great apps and have I've used them through 4 phones and multiple launchers.

I used to use folder organizer for this (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abcOrganizer) Unfortunately the icon pack support is broken on newer androids (i generate my own packs with icon pack studio).
Glextor (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glextor.appmanager.paid) is an ok replacement, although a bit slow p opening custom menus with 300+ installed apps /games
Hey did you find something? I found Folder Organizer a while back and it let's you put whatever you want in a folder. Contacts, shortcuts, widgets, icons, bookmarks, etc. Plenty of other features too.
Do you mean something like this app on Android?

I used it on my Android devices but don't know of anything similar on iOS.
Nova Prime + Folder Organizer.

There is also a free Lite version to try.
You can put relevant group folders on your home screen from where you can then start any app with just two taps. No mindless swiping. Ideal.
As far as I'm concerned any UI the manufacturer puts on it is irrelevant since I'll replace it immediately with Nova Prime and this little app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abcOrganizer (there's a free Lite version too.)
I'm sorry to be blunt but people who swipe through pages and pages of icons to find and start apps are stupid. With this app I can basically start any app with two taps. One to open the group folder and the second on the app icon itself. That is all you need to have a very efficient UI. With Nova I can increase the density of icons slightly to my liking. 5x5 plus bottom row on a phone. 7x7 on a 9,7" tablet. With these two apps you can customise any Android phone to be super efficient.
I believe iPads still only can use phone density icons on such a much larger screen. I have a 12,1" tablet with 12x6 icons (Nova) plus bottom row. Apple basically tells you: "This is wat you should want." Only... it isn't, so I'll never buy iStuff.
I use that with folder organizer to make pop up folders with more icons.
Have you seen Folder Organizer?
