I use cheetah sync and tasker. As soon as I am on home wi-fi cheetah sync backs up my selected folders to a CIFS share on my network drive at home.
The only downside is I do not sync while out, so I do risk those pictures. But i mostly use my phone for work or out with family, so not too much of a risk, yet.

As others have said, MusicBee is the way to go.
What you can do for the wireless sync, is as follows:
install FolderSync on your tablet, and the appropriate client on your PC.
create a folder on your PC to store the files you want to transfer to your tablet
make a playlist of the files you want to transfer in MusicBee
when you're done picking your songs, select all, right click and pick "Send To -> Format Converter". Choose the appropriate settings. IMPORTANT!! Output should be "or to a new folder" as it won't overwrite the original files. Obviously, pick the folder your created previously.
on your tablet, setup file sync with FolderSync. Depending on how you set it up, you can choose to reflect any changes made the folder on your PC to your Android device.
when you want to delete / add songs from your tablet, just delete them from or add them to your "Sync" folder on your PC through MusicBee.
Several Options
I just started playing BG2 EE on an 8" tablet, runs smooth for me with 2gb RAM and 1.3Ghz processor. Screen size is good as well(tried on my 5" phone and it was playable, but idk how long I can go with that small of a screen).
The save files are indeed compatible between Android and PC. I currently use Folder Sync: File Syncing to sync my save folders to seamlessly play between my PC and tablet.
