What's the tool : Automatic IV calculator / CP on Evolution

Why you like it/advantages : I put together this app a couple of weeks ago. It uses OCR techniques to automatically extract data from your Pokemons and calculates the IVs and other useful data. Over 3k downloads, 100% ToS compliant, enjoy =)

P.S. for those wondering about an iOS version, it was submitted, rejected, submitted, rejected, and now is being reworked =/

Search the Play Store for "Go Analyzer" by Antonio Hernández Niñirola. It does exactly that and it works ok.

It runs on Android with english and spanish clients and uses the Google OCR library. IOS Version and other languages are coming too.

I just commented, but this is exactly the same app in Android. Automatic recognition seems to work better on this app though, mine fails a bit more but lets you input the data manually when it does =)

I'm going to go ahead and guess that you are using Google's Tesseract for the OCR. Quick tip, add this to your build.gradle under the release flavor to go from 28MB to 8MB and still support 99.9% of devices:

ndk { abiFilters "armeabi-v7a", "armeabi", "x86" }

It will basically get rid of the executables for MIPS, MIPS64 and x86_64 since there are virtually 0 Android devices using those architectures.

Your App already seems to work with the german client, which is a big plus for me atm. But other than that, does your app do anything differently or "better"?
