Stay tuned i'm currently working on an app that calculates your exact ivs! Sometimes the arc is blocked by certain bigger pokemon so it also includes the feature to correct any mismatched data before submitting, here is a sneak peak of the system being used to correct the arc: http://recordit.co/lTxIfvm8pe (levels appear as popup on the bottom of the screen)
edit: some clarification, ideally the app will automagically align itself to the arc pointer and pull all the data needed for exact ivs, once the initial scan is complete however there might have been some data that failed to pull (being blocked by pokemon or the ocr just struggled) so once you scan the data will overlay your pokemon and you can make any changes required, including moving the arc pointer. Also note that the layout will NOT look like that in the video, the slider was placed there for testing purposes and on release things will be a lot more organized!
Both [/r/GoIV](/r/GoIV) (after the last update) and Calcy IV use the correct arc formula and the right CpM Values. GoIV has some additional functions (levelupcosts, refinement), while Calcy drains less battery.
That would be GoCalc. Another in-app IV calculator I like is PokeGoMaster. GoCalc probably has a slightly better interface, but PokeGoMaster shows a bit more detail.
I use xposed pokémon IV checker there's another xposed module that's pops up a notification with all the info about the Mon you are about to catch here's the link http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.chuparch0pper.android.xposed.pogoiv
There are other apps that dont require any login or breaking of the TOS, and give 100% accurate IV's. Look up the Xposed module called Pokemon Go IV Checker. It does require a rooted phone but its completely safe and gets the right IV's via sniffing the packets directly from cache/RAM with no interaction to the API.
Or you could try Perfect Pocket for Pokemon GO: https://apkpure.com/perfect-pocket/com.soapsign.perfect (I downloaded it from the Play Store, but I think it got removed. I can't find apkmirror link; never used apkpure.com before).
It behaves almost exactly like Pokeadvisor. I tried it and it works.
IV Fast, it's an android free app with beautiful material design and lot of interesting tools, no login required so completely safe.

Thanks, this helps a lot. The app I am using is called Calcy IV (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tesmath.calcy&hl=en).
So at the end of the day, a pokemon with a higher IV will in most cases be the one worthy of evolving / leveling up?
And finally the result is up @ https://github.com/jbatonnet/goontap & https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.thedju.GoOnTap
Still looking for Level 40 screenshots, but I'm fairly certain now that all existing Pokemon should read correctly, even for high-level players.
If you are on Android, you can record using Google Play Games. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.play.games&hl=en
Install another game that has Google Play Games integration then click record. It will bring up the other game but you can close it and then bring Pokemon Go up and record it that way.
Are you running normal android, or some manufacturer skin? Can you run any other apps which use screen capture api? for example https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hecorat.screenrecorder.free&hl=sv
There is already an App readily available on the Play store which checks and saves IVs from Screenshots (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hdezninirola.pogoanalyzer). It works quite well.
Your App already seems to work with the german client, which is a big plus for me atm. But other than that, does your app do anything differently or "better"?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.soapsign.perfect
It is an android app. Not very popular but works perfect for me.
edit: The app has been removed from the store since I posted the link. Still is working for me, idk why it has been removed.
