Hi /r/iosgaming,
I have been working on this game during my free time for 8 month, and it has recently been approved on the AppStore.
I originally created this game to learn mobile programming and also bring to the AppStore a decent Hexic HD like game. Along the development I decided to change some of the mechanics of the game to make it more exciting and touch friendly.
I kept the art very clean/simple for the simple reason that I am not really good artist and also myself like clean interfaces.
This game includes:
Since the game was just released for iPhone/iPad, I would love some feedback on how it plays.
Many thanks to whoever will try my game :)
PS: I also released my game on the PlayStore a bit ago: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rippalka.hexfall
I made a puzzle/strategy game inspired by Hexic HD:

App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=1119299077&mt=8
AFAIK there aren't any similar game on any of the stores, so maybe you will find it interesting :)
I found out someone actually remade the game almost perfectly and released it on the app stores. Absolutely hits all of the nostalgia buttons, one of the few times I happily paid a few $$ for an app because it is just that well done. And it works damn well on mobile
Hexfall is a pretty good clone on the play store. Though I see they've added in-app purchases since I played last. And it doesn't have the great soundtrack of Hexic HD.
I'm looking for the best Android game that is essentially the same thing as Hexic HD. Any recommendations?
/u/doomsdayforte suggested Hexfall. Has anyone played it?
Found a Hexic clone on android if you're interested :D
Did the Linkme bot die again? Here's the link to Hexfall.
This lacks originality, but a good programming exercise nonetheless.
Hexfall is apparently something like it. The/one of the devs posted in the subreddit some time ago.
