Yes there there is ads and in app - purchase. But it won't distract you if you stick to the free ver. The ads are hidden away to the bottom when you scroll down and even then it's has been pleasantly mixed into the dark UI such that it won't bother you.

Add your TV shows that you like to follow, they ask you how many seasons and individual episodes you've completed and then present you with basic statistics. The more in-depth, advanced statistics and multi-device account access is what you pay for (either a monthly or a single lifetime fee).

They will notify you any upcoming seasons as well.

Apps of Luci's designer/dev are so fucking beautiful. Like Hurry (a countdown) or bouncer.

It has a nice, simple design, it integrates and syncs automatically with Trakt.tv and has customizable notifications for new episodes, season premieres and release dates. So, if you're following a show and a new season is announced you get notified. You can also follow future shows so you know when they are going to be released.

I love it. I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet.

It's a brilliant app i am using this app for year and i have to say it's a very useful app for me as avid tv watcher this helped me find some amazing series that ii could otherwise missed.. i check the app daily to organize my viewing list and find new shows

I am using this one. It has dark mode. You can like the shows and then it will alert you about new episodes and so on.

I want to recommend a few apps :

Hobi - it's a beautiful TV show tracker, with track TV integration. It's free with ads.

Wallpaper changer for reddit - it's in the playstore as wall as in xda. It let's you automatically or manually change your wallpaper using subreddits as source. It has a great MD2 design.

AdGuard for system wide ad blocking without root. You have to download directly from their website.

Lastly I want to share Pure icon pack which is a very minimal pack with a lot of icons and ~~entirely free.~~

My submission for the September 2019 Contest: Hobi for KLWP. Based upon the beautifully designed TV tracker app; Hobi.

Built with Kustom Live Wallpaper (KLWP).

Still needs a little work, but thought I'd best post it here before the contest closes.

I've been extremely satisfied with Hobi for tracking TV shows. It links up to Trakt too so you're always in sync and have a record.

For exercise I'd recommend Google Fit, Sweatcoin (steps tracker with rewards), and Down Dog (yoga exercises).

I've been using Hobi for quite some time now. After trying the alternatives, this one is my favourite.

I like Hobi. It tracks your programs and uploads it to trakt.tv every couple of hours (or hour). I find that it looks good and is very easy to use. I have opted into using the premium version which cost me around £5 - £9 as it was on sale. There is also a subscription option but if you are like me, I would rather have the lifetime version. Also, to confirm the app is very much usable without buying the premium version.

If you want the premium version, I would recommend that you wait until it goes on sale. Black Friday may be an option for this.
