What is Reddit's opinion of Hooks - Alerts & Notifications?

Hi everyone!

I just discovered Hooks - Alerts for Everything last week. It sends you push notifications about new posts from 100+ channels such as subreddits (which I currently use for /r/Android and /r/googleplaydeals), news websites, weather etc.

Maybe Hooks can achieve similar features.

I had not heard of Hooks; thanks! Sadly, recent reviews seem to say it sucks :\ But I might still check it out.

I use Hooks for that purpose. Dead easy to set up, quite good for other things such as sports scores and stuff.
