It's great. It automatically informs you that you've arrived at your work based on location and asks you to "check-in" on your phone. Keeps a log of your hours and even calculates your paycheck (you can set a percentage for tax). Even allows you to track multiple jobs.
You compared you developing an app to being an MD, implhing your training and skill is equally as valuable and complex as theirs. MD is a much, much harder job requiring a lot more skill and education, far fewer people are capable of that job.
The amount of code it takes is irrelevant, no one gives a shit. All anyone cares about is results. You aren't evaluated on the quantity of work you put in, but on the results. People don't think Spotify is awesome because of the complexity of the code, but because of what it lets them do. 400 lines isn't even a lot...
Anyway, HoursTracker is a better version and is available on Android and iOS. Pro version is $6 or $9 (different options), but the functionality of your app is included in the free ad-supported version, indefinitely.
