No need for anyone to accompany you in Qatar; even if you are a teenager. It is safe here; just don't go with strange people.

The Aspire park is right next door to you in walking distance. So is Villagio mall and Hyatt Mall. Just ask anyone you see for walking directions.

There are taxis in front of Villagio mall the times around peak hours if you need a ride to anywhere else. Or use their karwa app to hail a metered taxi.

You need to update the public transport section.

Disregard Uber and niminate the Karwa App. It functions hassle free and is convenient and run locally. All the people I know have enjoyed the service better than uber. The Karwa app only brings in Metered taxis.

Or just list both.

Visiting soon ?

This is summer, avoid the heat. Thus no desert trip. Which is by far the best thing to do.

I would recommend visiting :

The Souq Waqif for visiting and eating.

The pearl for visiting, restaurants are overpriced there

Katara is the cultural center, very nice for visiting, and also a few good restaurants : Mamig and L'wzaar sea food.

Worth checking the Aspire center and the Villagio mall with the excellent burger place : Burgeri

At night time you can walk on The Corniche but it is still very hot and humid, might be fun to take a boat for a little ride.

Also something fun and relaxing, is going to the beach + pool at the Intercontinental hotel, no need to have a room, they accept walk-in guests for 100 riyals, do not go too early, too hot.

Check if there is a concert of the Qatar Philharmonic Ochestra, one of the best concert room in the world.

You should ask for a room if it is free of charge, maybe you want to take a shower. If you don't want to use it, no problem.

Uber used to be more expensive than taxis. But they recently lower their prices Link1 Link2
