I have recently launched a fighting game on Android - Kung Fu Glory. From UX perspective I tried a few options, in terms of button combinations, to let players initiate combo moves. It was difficult to decide since I wanted it easy for players to initiate combo moves. Finally, I implemented controls where player is expected to press two buttons simulataneously: any one of the three combo buttons (C1, C2, C3) + kick or punch button.
