My thoughts as well. Someone had been converting the assets from lod into unity. The results, and info were glorious.
P.s. Lodt on android
Lod tactics has gotten 4 stars for the platform it was built for. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inc3000ad.lodtactics&hl=en&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dline+of+defense+tactics&pcampaignid=APPU_1_y_7iVuCbGdGSjwOG_oGwCA
So it being panned for lazy porting is all on dédé.

LoD Tactics released in 2014 and only has 17 reviews on steam. 15 of those are negative. It's also showing a max average player count of 2.4 right after it released. That number dropped, and stayed, at 0.1 player average per month until present day.

It also has 184 ratings (2.5 out of 5) on xbox store/marketplace.

Let's say 1 out of 20 people who bought the game actually bothered to rate it.
From xbox: 184 reviews x 20 = 3,680. Multiply that by the game price of $19.99 and we see $73,563 total income.
From steam: 17 reviews x 20 = 340. Multiplied by price $9.99 = 3,396.6
From those two platforms we see a total of about $77,500. Really not too bad for a small indie game. Supposedly DS says the game made back it's $500k investment in 1 month on mobile, however.
Ok, on mobile (android) I see 6,000 reviews (about 3.5/5 rating) for a FREE game (in-app purchases), and over 100,000 downloads (my estimate with the 1/20 ratio would be 120,000). Granted, that's downloads since december of 2014.

I would really love to see the actual real breakdown of numbers for LoD Tactics. I am doubting that it actually made $500k in the first month, however. Maybe it's made $500k since it's launch date (over 2.5 years ago), that would be more believable.
EDIT: I'm not sure why I wrote all that, I just like numbers. :)
Actually I wonder if by "console version of LOD" he didn't mean Line of Defense: Tactics (Video Review), which actually is out on XBox One, Android and Apple. It appears to be a simple top down 'strategy' game, with no multiplayer. Even the reviewer in the video calls the Xbox version "obviously a port from mobile".
Interestingly enough it actually has decent reviews on Apple and Android, though the reviews on Xbox seem predominantly negative (3x 5 stars, 20x 1 star).
