• Maltese Roads Traffic Updates (Android | Apple): Pretty useful for regular commuters, although Google also has the same feature, but this app tells you exactly what happened (eg: accident, roadworks, etc.)

• Tallinja (Android | Apple) - Godsend for people who catch buses. Tells you when the next bus is coming using the buses' GPS. Inaccuracies are often due to traffic.

• The Entertainer (Android & Apple): Annual subscription, of around 30 euro, but you get pretty good discounts on restaurants, bars, and other places. You end up saving loads of money.

• Time to Eat (Android | Apple): Hungry and fancying take-away? Contains a list of take away restaurants, and you can order from any restaurant using the app.

• Not an app, but a weather service that will be releasing an app in the near future: Maltese Islands Weather, very accurate and informative.

Will see if I can think of more useful apps to add.
