Its illegal to give a ride for cash as two consenting adults? Give me a break. I've given rides and taken square payments. Heck I've even used meter for uber so both of us don't feel jipped. If uber cant ping a car the pax is in then its up to you to gauge the risk and pocket that sweet sweet $$$
