This does different time signatures. You get to specify number of beats, and bar length. You get to specify how many clicks per beat. You can customise the sound of the clicks. Great for me when I'm recording drum parts.
Metronome Beats and Mobile Metronome are both really good
Take this and this; that's all I needed to read, play and write music.
Paying for lessons is recommended, they are a shortcut.
My advice: You have to keep your motivation alive: Watch videos of other people playing pieces you would like to play, it's as important as brushing your teeth. You require ambition but also you must acknowledge the nature of the process of learning; you will invest time, emotions and money to get there, keep that in mind.
Enjoy your journey, music is a beautiful investment.

I use metronome beats. I tried so many different metronomes in the app store and this one is boss. It allows you to play polyrythyms, add extra clicks for other note values instead of just quarter notes. It also has the ability for a timer or auto speed up after x bars.
It's also free.

I found one that plays over other apps, and has separate volume control! It was helpful getting my cadence from 162 up to 172; personally, I found going higher just hurt, even after forcing it for weeks.

Running with a metronome was also done at a PT suggestion. She suggested 3 on/off to start and build up from there because otherwise your attention will drift away. I set my watch with the intervals, then run a dozen sets of them.
I've been running regularly for quite sometime and have never gotten a stitch, here are some thing I do that may help
Some things I think have helped;
*Anything at the top of threshold makes me breathe harder and become more tense. I tend to pull back before a stitch occurs but maybe that's your problem, you're going faster than your body is comfortably with at the moment.
Something that could help be with consistency and make it easier for you to find out why you get a stitch is to use a metronome. This is the metronome app I use, it has a function where you tap the beat you want; If you run while tapping your spm you can see how well you handle that speed for a prolonged speed.
Also If you haven't already I would invest in a good fitness watch that way you have more information to work with.
The metronome app I use has a free version and a paid version. It's an Android app.
This metronome. Easy to use, sounds can be changed and also has a tap tempo function. Brilliant!
Really nice idea, will try it out today. If you guys keep crashing metronome sites, why not try an android app? Found this one after 3 seconds of googling:

1 BPM on the Pro. Don't think the ad supported is any different.
Oh, you don't need to buy one. If you play near your laptop, use one that you find online, like these ones: https://www.metronomeonline.com/ https://www.8notes.com/metronome/
If you don't want to do that, you also find apps for Android/iOS, like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andymstone.metronome&hl=en
Some have beep-beep, others tick-tock, others sound like real drums, depends on what you enjoy listening more. And you set it on a speed where you feel comfortable with, start at around 60, you can try to do chord changes there, where every chord is a beep, then you might want to speed it up. The same if you're practicing a song, you can do the song at a slower tempo, then speed it up at the original one when you feel comfortable.

Just checked and this one does, although it's measured in hertz rather than a specific note
I just use this, but I'd imagine any metronome app would be similar https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andymstone.metronome&hl=en_US&gl=US

Try Metronome Beats
If you don't have a metronome, you can always use an app. For android I use Metronome Beats.
