Track Your Spending
However you need to do this. Do it. I've seen people do the envelope system (cash in envelopes). I personally use Monefy. Almost every single transaction I log in that thing. The categories are super easy to set up and the UI is really simple. (The pro version allows for better category management and such. Worth it)
Tracking transactions will allow you to get a better view of what you're spending even looks like.
Budget
Nobody wants to do this. I STILL don't want to do this, but I've been doing it for a few months and it at least makes me more conscious of what's more appropriate. I match my categories with my app and try to estimate my spending based on a few questions about each category.
Here's an example of what my spreadsheet looks like.
Disclaimer: My static, regular bills (insurance, phone, rent, etc.) are on another sheet. Those I expect to be the same every month.
> (Entertainment) Am I going to see any movies this month? Am I going to use Redbox?
> (Health) Am I likely to see the doctor or dentist this month?
> (Bar/Nightlife) How many times am I planning on going out this month? What am I likely to spend each night?
> (Gifts) Do I have any birthdays or holidays coming up?
As you can see, I still go over most months, but usually I'm not far off and...
Don't Budget 100% of your Income
My static expenses make up about 57% of my spending. Add 30% for dynamic expenses and I'm at 85-90%. But I know I'm likely to go over. I know there's likely to be oversight of some kind. So I don't plan to spend 100%.
Ich benutze dafür die App Monefy Pro. Im Gegensatz zur kostenlosen Variante kann man hier auch wöchentliche/monatliche/whatever Daueraufträge speichern.
Monefy Pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monefy.app.pro&hl=en)
Been using it for almost 2 years na, very helpful.
Meron syang auto-save feature by end of the day, and an option para ma-save sa cloud. Para if ever man na mawala or masira ang phone mo, pullout mo lang yung file then resume the lista galore. Haha
Monefy - best (in my opinion) money spending tracker
Lifesum - for counting calorie intake
Google Keep - simple app for notes and lists
Steam - notifications about special offers and security codes
Nike Training Club - workouts
Marvel Unlimited - I love reading comics (but it's easier to read them on a tablet)
FBreader - best (again, in my opinion) e-book reader.
